Great job Cole Macedo last night taking the $$$ as the lone WoO guy in 45 car field. Balog got podium as lone guy in WI a couple weeks ago Cole topped that spanking em all. Great job popular win for the fremont faithful. Kudos again to Courtney highest HL guy gettin final podium spot. Good to hear Royal week got even bigger and will be Fremont Attica Eldora ×4 moving forward. 6 in a row with the big money on day 6..gotta love it.

The race was great, and although I'm a Larson fan, how could I not be pulling for Cole to hold him off? Too bad he had to tear up a car after the checkers, but I'm sure it stings less with the "W"!

An Outlaw winning a HL race (which is now pretty common honestly) is becoming like an Outlaw winning a race at the Grove back in the WoO/Posse rivalry glory days.
Not a lot of posts on the board, a lot of folks would care not to mention it on social media etc..

Ya it's weird 7 or 8 hl guys show at a WoO race and a nascar guy wins but hl swifties go nuts then 1 or 2 woo guys show at a hl race and win or get top 3 and the Swifties go silent. Pretty interesting the dynamic of those that chose sides. I'm just glad to see more racing. Regardless off WoO HL or Nascar membership.great start to a great week

I was surprised to see Macedo use up one of his free passes on a $12,000 to win race. Is there some connection to that track that he wanted to be there? Tearing up a car at the start of 6 races in 6 nights is not desired but a win is always good regardless of the money. The competition was strong.

Macedo cut his teeth in ohio, similar to Carson and kofoid even though they are from Cali. Similar to what kalib henry is doing the last couple of years.

Curious what the amount to win has to do with it? The amount to win is insignificant. For most teams, running an event is an expense, not a profit. They decided this was an event they could win, and decided to spend money in their budget to run it.

Agree, Cole had a ton of laps at Fremont and was clearly the fastest car all night. He wouldnt have had that kind of advantage at Lernerville or any of the other options to run HL races.

Imagine the stink that would have been raised by the conspiracy theorists if Macedo had not made weight and been DQd....handing the win to Larson. Lol! Great show. The whole night had a great energy to it.

I never much thought of the scenario, but how does a car reasonably "make weight" when it;s now coming in on a wrecker and missing part/destroyed? Do they just wave that idea or porion now? There's no way to get a relasitic weight of that car now? Not suggesting anything, but just something to think about?

Bent parts weigh the same as straight ones. I was down in turn one stands and didn't see anything fly off the car or parts on the track. Little bit of fluid but no more than a gallon (7-8 lbs)

Also fremont has always had a little character to it. We always were heavy in the front to keep the car from bouncing thru the character.... I'm sure most still do the same

I think they said Cole is a former track champion. Not exactly a random outlaw guy showing up to run

I doubt many teams think like that. If I only have 4 chances to race off the farm I'm gonna pick profitable opportunities or sentimental locations.

You just answered your own question then..........this is exactly what they did, regardless of what the amount to win was......

That was a good race to watch. I was surprised about him dropping an F-bomb while being interviewed, and surprised that Flo left that in their Youtube video. It made me think of some often quoted phase by some unknown coach. To paraphrase, "when they're interviewing you after a win, act like you're been there before".
