Read DD's Facebook post about the bigger tanks. $3000 per, several per team, 1500 teams nationwide....
Why not just shorten the races and make the drivers "sprint" to the finish?

That's why I asked: was it after 55 laps they throw the red, or when they determine it will take more than 55 to complete? I ask because I don't know.

Went to the Grove last night. Very good race! Still need 33 Gallon tanks. Fuel stops suck! Make it mandatory next year. Run the allotted laps and who runs out push them in the pits and let them sit there. DD should have been disqualified at Port on Wednesday according to another Sprint driver who is on a national sprint tour.
1. DD should’ve been DQ because you can’t refuel in the work area. (Sorry Danny, you know this lol)
2. It’s time to re think the amount of laps ran before fuel stops, or just mandate one fuel tank size and call it a day.
I aggree with the second part of this statement in the second point

As I said before. Larson owns a series. He can putup or shutup and change his rules to start the movement. Or is he just going to commplain when it dosen't work out for him and not do anything about it.

If you're going to post up driver quotes from the social pages have the sack to say the drivers name. Don't make people guess and then treat them like crap, what the hell is wrong with you. Just say high limit driver Brent Marks had this to say...shouldn't be hard for the just the facts guy you think you are.

I remember the 80's when everything that broke was the track's fault. We used to joke about what part he would take to the payoff window.
I attend enough races. Just not one track.

Actually Larson did bring it up in the post race interveiw. He always complains about something when finishes anywhere but first. I know it was Marks who posted it social media. Do your research. Watch the replay.

Elliot also said in podcast its not in Port Royal rulebook you can't refuel in work area but we be adressed going forward.

With Brents interpretation if correct, no one who runs out of fuel could ever restart a race. I unstand if you are there for something else you can't refuel which is what I think Brent would have been refering to. Maybe the rule needs to be clarified.

For God sakes watch the post race interveiws. You read my post and assumed I was refering to Mark's comments. That saying about assuming sure holds true here. And all I said in first place was he owns a series if he wants rule changes he could start with his own series. Are you that upset that Larson got beaten four or five times by Macri that night. It was one night. Larson beat Macri ther next night, it will be ok.
