Yea Dirtvision posts the lap they are working on instead of the laps complete. Not sure who came up with that.

I sent a note to Brian Dunlap at DirtVision when I first noticed the change 2-3 seasons ago and he said he was going to check into it. I didn't hear back.

It's especially frustrating as it doesn't match when Johnny refers to what lap they're on as he's announcing the correct lap and it's one off from the screen.

It doesn't matter the broadcast or series either. All dirt vision broadcasts do this.

Not as predictable as High Limit officiating errors, hahaha.

i wonder if Ted and the WoO had perfect officiating in barely their 3rd year~ around 1980?

Probably safe to say probably not as Ted needed teams to sign on and probably relied on some bias shown toward his teams.

I believe when they started locking down rules to the WoO teams advantage is what brought and end to the run whatya brung (RWYB) wink era to beat the big blocks in central Pa.  I remember the big steel blocks.

I'm truly enjoying both series; but, to think one and not the other is only helping their teams seems like a fool hearted debate.  Sprint cars get my adrenaline pumping - imagine the adrenaline rush for teams and officials.  Mistakes/errors in judgement happen in intense decisions. I believe what little controversy there is puts butts in the seats, more eyes on Flo and DirtVision, and certainly more money making hits on social media.

Both High Limit and WoO are businesses where both must make a profit.  IMHO if one was totally one sided for the business profit drivers would flock to the other series.

Yup.  Both just businesses making business decisions.  Their always has to be a rabbit hole for everyone to go down.

So David Gravel hits the 12x car then spins into the infield off T4 losing a bunch of spots but keeps it running and then... gets his third spot back on the restart because the caution was on the 12x? WTF is up with that officiating?

No, actually, he was just told to shut the hell up about the track surface at Port Royal. So he moved on to some other junior high bs.

Thankfully  the leader did not change between lap 30 and 31. I noticed Tony's announcing saying last lap, twice.

Justin's take on Dirtrkr is good. Can and should be avoided.

All this whining about the High Limit officiating issues. Why on earth did Gravel get his spot back after spinning to the infield at the WOO race? I'm sure there will be some BS excuse there for that series points leader. Even if he was "blended" in, he would have been 10th or so at that point.

Gravel didn't stop. Rule has always been enforced that way. Same thing happened with Haudenshield last year. He actually caused it but when he got run into the car fired again and he drove away without ever stopping.
