New group at Selinsgrove Speedway. I don't expect them to be around long unless they bring someone with a lot of money to make huge changes and upgrade the facilities.

Does anybody know anything about these folks? I sure don't...
At least somebody is trying... lets support their taking a shot at it

Back when they tried it before , it was an issue. I don't think it would be any more. Not many Port Royal 410's go to the Grove anymore , and I know some that do now, would rather race someplace else. The other 3 classes wouldn't be an issue. I think a lot of Port fans that used to go to the Grove would support Selinsgrove too. Plus the LM / 305 fan base would be good. I know it would be a risk , but I'm thinking it would work (better than anything else they have going). Shortening the track a bit would also be a big plus.

What they are saying in the interveiw at sprintcarunlimited.com is very similar to my points . Hmmmm.

On another note did anyone else notice that TJ Stutts just suddenly disappeared after ERS got exposed. Almost like the money for the team simply disappeared.

What's ERS?

It was the promotional team led by Stephanie Baker Stutts and her two sons with TJ Stutts....or one son.

facts: Donnie Schick - is a 2x late model champion 2005 & 2006.
Paula Schick - is the daughter of the late Paul Long the 1966 & 1973 late model track champion. Paula's mom still works the cash box at the main concession stand.
Opinion
They are dirt track lifers who are just hard working down to earth people - that like many of us who are concerned about the real speed palace's survival grew up there! Many would opine one of the reasons some teams stay away is the speed.
They can give and take the good natured LM's vs. Sprint Cars ribbin.
if it doesn't work...... it won't be because of a lack of on site presence and work!

Looks like weekly Super lates and limited lates with 6 to 10 410 shows with the first one is a Friday night April 11th. Also said to be working with Port and Clinton county and is hoping for a Pa speed week date

The new purse structure looks completely unsustainable.

I agree. There's no way they can get the amount of people on a Friday night to cover that. I wish them luck but I just don't see it.

Complete agree. It cost $15,000 to turn the power on. So for a 410, SLM, and RR show it's about $70,000.

Quite an aggressive 2025 schedule. Hope it all goes well with fans and cars. I will be there as often as I can.

There is only one show featuring 410s and Super Late models
