You may not have noticed since you are not there but that car has not won much at Port Royal in quite while even with Dewease in it. It hadn't been like their dominant years for a few years. And Dewease very well may have won on the bottom last night had he felt the urgentcy to pass lapped cars sooner. There was only on guy who made the top work good enough to win from eighth. The 33 had a good run in the middle until getting ambushed on the last restart. You don't see those things unless you are there.

Lance definitely got lazy. He had a car good enough to win and it just seemed like he got way too careful around the lapped cars. He needed to do what he did in his heat race and quit pissing around on the bottom. Had he done that, he may have been able to hang on but the 69K was definitely faster and the driver did a hell of a job

You always need to be careful passing Rick Lafferty.

I'm not sure Lance could have held him off even if he got through the lapped cars quicker. The 69k looked like a rocket ship, passing cars like they were sitting still once he took it to the curb. Was rooting for LD but that was an impressive run for Wagner.

That was one of the fasted sprint cars I've saw run since my buddy Greg Hodnett ripped Selinsgrove years ago. No way Lance was going to hold him off. Davey must have been feeling a little chipper on his bday weekend. Love it.

The deal with Donnie and Daryn is Grove only I believe. Donnie was gonna run Justin Henderson in other races other than Daryn's deal and Wagner at Port but they hurt an engine last year and killed that. Donnie I'm sure has more cars than engines so I'm sure only Daryn is driving the car from last night

Daryn was on Winged Nation this week.

He said the 69K is going to Knoxville next week to race with the Outlaws. They are also planning to run the Capitani Classic and the Nationals. They are looking for a 360 for the 360 Nationals at Knoxvile. At the Grove they will race the Summer Nationals, the National Open, and possibly a Friday $20K Speed Week race.
I'm excited to see them go back to Knoxville I haven't seen anybody say they are gonna win anything (let's get that clear...) . I'm just happy to see them compete on the big stage especially with the speed they found this past weekend.
Good Luck to the D Team !!
