Yes they were. The only races that dont count for points are the ones that deviate from the woo format. If you know the format and watch on  tv or follow on social media, you will know if its a points race or not. Very few dont count for points.

Unfortunately the feral cat will be champion again. That's all I need to know about the points.

Gravel has been the fastest car overall a couple of years now and just isn't consistent enough. Sweet doesn't win a lot like past WoO champs but he's been remarkably consistent.

Well hes the best that tends to happen. The 41 and the 2 hang around like pesky gnats but the 49's consistancy is unmatched.

Gravel doesn't have any championships as of yet so he may have the "fastest" car at certain points of the season but you have to be on all 80+ to 90races. 86 wins sure sounds like a lot for someone who does not win that much. All finishes count, not just the wins. Those finishes of 10th or worse count or lack there of do as well. Sure Sweet hasn't had the 20+ or 30+ win seasons like Donny use to have 6,7,8 years ago but to me now you have 6-7 drivers who could realistically win any race at any track (Sweet, Gravel, Macedo, Schuchart, Sheldon, Schatz). Whenever Larson and Rico decide to run there are 2 more. Right now you have a question of who is going to win? Back then the question was can anyone beat Schatz or can anyone beat Kinser? To me it makes it just as impressive what the 49 has done the past several years knowing that the teams you are racing against are right there but they still somehow keep finding a way.

I heard them say today that the next 3 meetings @ the Gold Cup Race of Champions Chico no WOO points.

I think BC extended his lead tonight @ GH  to 82 over Gravel and Carson 106.

Cheers
