i wonder what is really going on with Jacob, i hope all is well. Logan had a brief interview on the latest Sprint Car Hub youube video after the races Saturday night and it was strange when he was asked about Jacob he kind of didnt even seem to know where Jacob was, weird.

Love it. Great opportunity for Tanner. He's earned a chance through his on and off-track efforts.
I wish him well.
If you aren't a believer that the West Coast Outlaw kart division produces great talent like Tanner, Larson, Sweet, Rico, Robert Ballou, and many others, you should be.

It looked like Jacob had turned a corner last year. He was more consistent and was challenging teams for wins. For his own personal reasons he just needed to take time away. Being on the road is not all what most think and it obviously was weighing on Jacob heavily. Good luck to Tanner and shark racing, good luck to Jacob Allen, I hope you find what gives you pc of mind and being happy.

Yes, and also a fantastic kid. I wanted one of his shirts and walked up to his hauler behind the backstretch. I talked with him and his family for 20 minutes and they wanted to keep talking. It was an absolute pleasure to talk to someone with his attitude!
At times he looked fast and the most important thing for his first nationals, he put the car back in the trailer on 4 wheels!

& it's non of our busines whats going on with Jacob. It's between him and his family. We all should not speculate & just respect his privacy.

Agreed it Is not really our business but as a public figure on a national level he will be talked about and judged and compared. It's not right but it happens. His decision could be simple and honourable. Perhaps his girlfriend/fiancé/wife isn't really excited about him risking his life 270 times a year cause she wants to grow old with him. If he chooses her over racing he has done NOTHING wrong and possibly EVERYTHING right.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Good question. Besides social media, I haven't heard much about this Tanner Holmes kid, not a lot of results on track but definitely has a strong social media team. We all have heard of driver development teams and maybe Shark racing will go that way, they have already developed two WoO winning drivers. Sure, its pay to play but learning the ropes from the pros should carry a serious price tag. Really hard to keep up and understand all the driver changes this year, makes me wonder what the off season will bring.

Not many guys get this kind opportunity to see how really good they really are. He has run decent in some NARC 410 races but this pool is so much deeper.
I have followed Tanner on social media for years and he is brutally honest on how he does. Big change for him will be having an actual crew chief.

I feel bad for Jacob. He showed huge improvement last season and really wasn't having a terrible season this year. It could be anything. Maybe it was seeing someone else's wreck that scared him? Macedo's fire? Who knows?

Need to watch more West Coast races. Kid can drive, especially on the smaller tracks.

There are very few drivers who showed up at the big Half Miles, in Knoxville and did well. Tanner's one of them. I don't think he's on the level of some of the young guns that were in the 410 A main last Saturday night, however Tanner did look pretty damn smooth in the 360 main, and then looked good also in the 410 nights.
I think he'll surprise some people.
Keep It Real

I doubt they are interested in hiring a driver and fielding a car for 2024 if jacob doesnt want to race. The car needs to finish out on the woo tour for the rest of the year to obtain contengency money is reasoning for putting someone in it now

If Shark Racing does stay a 2 car team in 2024 and they keep Tanner Holmes. They should run a true Outlaw/ ASCOC schedule with Tanner.
