I am impressed with the Passion that Bill Rose has been showing recently. He has not only been running better but the racer in him has in my opinion come to the surface. He has been racing his ass off the last month or so and been competitive and fighting for good finishes. He obviously does not have the best equipment or financial backing but he seems to be living the dream of a real grass roots racer. Nice job man and keep up the good fight. There are those amount u who appreciate your efforts and love of the sport.

When you race with the best you get better. Not easy to know that just getting in the main is a major accomplishment. Its hard to beleive Kraig Kinser is not much faster and He was a force to win everynight.I know age slows down the best but we need guys like Bill where the fields are short.

When he was at Grays Harbor Raceway last year. I chatted with him a bit. Really nice guy and I have a ton of respect for what he does. Even bought a few shirts that night. I have noticed he has been getting better after the struggles earlier in the year. A few weeks if I recall he transfered right out of the heat race. That was awesome.

We were at Iron Man last weekend and during the Last Chance showdown I said to my wife.."what has got into Bill ?"
He looked great and was driving the hell out of the car.
Always happy to see him on the tour.

I don't know where guys like Bill get the money to run the tour, but good for him. I don't think I would have the patience to go out do it. I gotta think a guy like Bill would be competitive at a place like Husets running weekly, I think I would rather do that than run the tour but that's just me. Nothing but respect for anyone running at any level of racing. It takes a lot of time and money.

From what I understand Bill has a day gig, a company that builds beautiful staircases and other interior trim for homes.
