Balog & Ozzie ... anybody know what happened? Seems like they split but I have not seen anything posted online.

That unassisted spin while leading by half a track with 5 to go or so probably hurt but not bad enough to split.  but honestly haven't heard a thing on it.

Yes, they split. Bill no longer runs the family Gibbsville Cheese sponsorship as it was off the car for the IRA races this weekend, and Scotty Thiel was back in the Ozzie 73. So yes, Balog and Ozzy are done.

The Gibbsville Cheese logo was off of the car in Plymouth, Ozzie was there with the 73 and Scotty Thiel...so yeah I think they split. I am not sure when it happened (perhaps BEFORE 17B went quick time and won some races?) ... that's why I was asking.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why ANYONE would want Thiel over Balog. It just does not make sense. Are you sure it wasn't Thiel's own car?

Thiel was in Ozzies car and it was referred to throught the night and social media. Ozzy did not pick Thiel over Balog...Balog terminated the partnership and retrieved his equipment.
