Cap Henry out of the Lane racing #4 effective immediately. Kind of surprising, they had been together a long time and while they struggled a bit, did just win the Sharon Nationals.

I'd say fired before the end so they don't have to pay him point fund money. all stars need to fix it where the all the points money goes to owner. I remember wises telling me the 11 pulled this and never payed.

I don't think Bernie has the resources or the desire to run a car up and down the road full time. Macri can hold out for a better situation. He has earned that this year with his performance.

I don't know anything about Bernie's resources or work schedule but the 71 is a very fast car. Everyone that sits in it does well. If Macri could land that ride for the all-star tour and still run the 39m elsewhere when the all-stars aren't racing, that would seem like a very good situation. He already appears to have a great relationship with Bernie.

Someone must know how to write the algorithm so that rumor just automatically posts in any silly season thread.
Why would that be such a good thing ? Racing has been good, track has been good. Tony is great for the sport and so is a person who does one thing - runs/promotes one race track.

Funny thing is, people say "I bet you're fun at parties". I usually meet those types people in business meetings where you can't duck out.
