If Macri goes to the Indy car that means Cory will be going somewhere else?

As we all know, you can't handle the truth. Fact! There, I said it and that makes it true.

Not driver or car change but a track change.
Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg Ohio has new owners and they ran their first sprint race last Friday. Had 20 cars and the track was in very good shape.
Sounds like they may run sprints in the future.

Maybe for a special here and there, but definitely not on a full-time basis unless they want to go up against Attica since they are a Friday night track.

With all the resources Macri has with the 39 why would he leave to drive the indy parts car?

I'm purely guessing here...
1. Spending someone else's money instead of the family's (or at least not as much of the family's money). 2. Since the crew chief left earlier this year they've been playing musical chairs with what I'll call "guest" crew chiefs, including Bernie from IRP and a stint in the McGhee 11. This would alleviate the need to hire a full time crew chief for 2023.
Signature here.

I don't think Bernie has the resources or the desire to run a car up and down the road full time. Macri can hold out for a better situation. He has earned that this year with his performance.

Hilltop would pull in the regulars from Wayne County as most of them do not run Attica.
They would also pick up more southern Ohio and some WV cars that don't run Attica. Even some western PA guys have come over.
I would think they could get at least 20 a night. Some guys would go there to have a chance to win where they wouldn't at Attica.
Before Lakeville was destroyed, they got a healthy sprint count on Friday night against Attica.
I definitely think the grandstands would be fuller if they ran both sprints and late models there.
Hilltop has great possibilities. I have friends say if they started running sprints again, they would return to Hltop to watch.

Cap Henry out of the Lane racing #4 effective immediately. Kind of surprising, they had been together a long time and while they struggled a bit, did just win the Sharon Nationals.

My guess is Cap just wanted to race more races than Lane was able to financially afford. That team is/was probably the lowest dollar team chasing national points anywhere.
