I'll admit, I considered myself a bit of a fan because of how hard he seems to race, his willingness to travel and mainly his "take no shit, call a spade a spade" attitude but I can't say I was a fan of that finish. I know Reutzel has a reputation of his own but I can't recall an instance where he flat out dumped someone for a win like that.

Only going to escalate the situation - can't see the 87 backing down. May wait for a non-ASCoC race but I have to think the check will get cashed at some point.

Dietrick will get his Karma ,,,,He cries like a baby when he loses. If he is proud of punting someone his day is coming. Bullshit Danny . Lost all respect for this.

Reutzel should dot his Eye. He needs it.

I've learned that sometimes when the indiviudal is a "take no shit" type attitude at times that  just means that the individual is just a piece of it. Kind of like the whole "tell it like it is" analogy. No he's not telling it like it is he's just crying from the other end of the spectrum.

Just saw the video of what happened, guess DD was doing his best asphalt late model immitation by doing the bump and run. May not be a good idea to be sitting in the corners the next few nights.

More of the same from Danny. I used to be a fan until his ego took over several years ago. Reutzel is no saint but he ran Danny 100% clean in that race. I was sitting on the frontstretch and I knew judging by the line Danny took coming off of turn 4 that he was gonna turn the 87 and that's exactly what he did. Then to act like he was settling some score in victory lane? Bullshit. Whatever happened, happened at another race and that score should've already been settled. These cars are way too dangerous and way too expensive to be doing shit like that. Danny talks about safety all the time but then he does shit like that and it makes you wonder. He's a gifted driver but his attitude gets worse by the day. I hope they squash this bush league bullshit before tomorrow. Williams Grove isn't the place to be trading paint and anyone who was there last week to see that frightening crash on the frontstretch knows what I'm talking about. Hopefully cooler heads prevail and this gets taken care of off the track.

I know Freddie Rahmer owes him a couple; but those guys don't roll like that.

DD could have raced him clean that last race and just flat out chose not to. No reason except he's a D@&K.

Not sure; but with the Twin races; the first one is All Star format and points; second one I don't know. Could be interesting. And I think DD is in a points battle that Reutzel could mess up for him if track points are awarded at all tomorrow. Who said Karma ?

I didn't see what happened last night and am not big fan of either one of them. I have said that there is more than a couple of these young guys right now who would have been taught some manners by some of the recently retired veterans. Eventually guys start to run other guys they way they get run by them.

I mean Reutzel could do that but then he has to race DD on Saturday, Sunday, and then in a few weeks they are back again for the Tuscarora 50, and then the Dirt Classic - Reutzel has his own points battle that is close enough to be screwed up if they are going to go back and forth... Another fold to this is Baughman who has missed ASCOC races and probbaly does not care much about points and has a history of not hesistating to tear up equipment. Hopefully things don't devolve to that point but I would be hesitant getting rough with a team the size of BRM.

Bump and run! It was that or get second. If your not first your last. Clean? No. Entertaining? Very much so. Between that and Larson last night it was pretty fun. Lots of comments to read.

1. Yes he turned him. But it was the slightest of bumps, so much that Aaron literaly did a complete 360 and never stopped. Everyone is acting like Danny maliciously crashed him. People have seemed to forget the old "Rubbin is Racing", "Bump and Run" mentality that racing has had for umm lets see.....forever! It's part of the sport and ultimately the goal is to win, not finish second.

2. Go on Twitter...within minutes of it happening there were at least 7-8 drivers who all basically said, Aaron has had that coming for a long time and many saying how they wonder if he's learned yet and how Danny was the one who finally gave him a dose of his own medicine. Go walk the pits sometime...ask the drivers what they think of Aaron. I can tell you they respect his talent but all (traveling and local) don't like the way he races people and have an issue with it. It's a frequent conversation in the pits when that car pulls in or you mentiom him.

3. Stop being so soft. Racing isn;t about clean passes and 5 second victories and all that. If that doesn't happen, it's follow the leader and we're sitting here complainign about how the track was rubbered up (it was) by heat races and how nobdy would get off the bottom all night because the track was one lane. You got your battle, you got your excitment, you got your drama and you got your villian, which every sport and entertainment needs. Whether you like the people involved in ther action or not, that's what sells tickets and that;s what brings views and clicks. An NO ONE got hurt!

Rubbin is racing is redneck NASCAR BS. You can't do that in a sprint car normally because you might hurt someone.

That said, it's not the end of the world. It was rubber down, shit racing and he dumped Reutzel, who isn't exactly the cleanest driver.

If you don't see some rubbin in open wheel racing, you aren't watching much of a race. I was suprised one year when I was sitting in turn 4 at Port and I couldn't believe the close calls and slight contact going on. Yep, you see it on the short tracks but its there on the big tracks too. Its part of racing, it can be done but it has to be done carefully. Moving the car in front of you out of the groove can be done without crashing that person but its a delicate affair. Rubbing or slight bumping I can deal with but the haymaker sliders that go bad are just lousy driving.  SpcJay seems to have some good scoops from inside, thanks.

DD is a good driver and pretty fun to watch, usually passing cars, he does some pretty head scratching shit though.

I actually agree with most of what you say here but your last point is not a good one - actions like this will draw retaliation and escalation and thankfully no one was hurt this time, that does zero to justify the move. Turning someone with the field barreling down on them is not a smart move.

That looked like a low rent E-mod move.  I get a kick out of DD but that was pretty shitty.

Reutzel is an aggressive driver but I've never seen him blatantly take someone out. Double Douche OTOH....
