Here's a new topic - the dominance of Paul Silva as crew chief/owner. Certainly Kyle drives the hell out of the #57, but Silva gives him a bullet pretty much every time he hits the track.
He and Shane Stewart had a lock on the 360 Nationals from 2010-2013. There was also a ASCS championship in there too. Anybody aware of stats on Paul, i.e. how many races, championships, etc. his cars have won?

Kyle wins the World of Outlaws championship driving any of the top 6-8 cars on the series utilizing their crews. See Eagle Raceway World of Outlaws June 13, 2017.

Which one? Saying he wouldn't have the same success or saying he would?

Silva had huge success with Shane Stewart and Rico Abreu as well. He even wrenched Larson's midget at the Gateway Nationals(maybe all of his midget wins this year). I feel like this is a Steve and Karl Kinser type of scenario. If they split to work with other teams, they both win a lot of races. There's no denying that the combo is money in the bank.

The Steve/Karl comparison is what came to my mind as well while reading this thread. Silva and Larson are two HoF caliber people in their respective roles.

kyle was winning in his OWN equipment even before he and silva hooked up...and with the midget...he won indianna midget week driving for tucker-boat motorsports...silva had NO involvment in that and larson DOMINATED the USAC midget week! but i agree the silva/larson combo right now is almost BULLETPROOF.we will see just how talented larson is when he runs the silver crown car on sunday and the late model he was testing at cherokee last weekend,,,i am looking forward to see him run that late model!

Silva makes good drivers great. Larson is superman, he can just flat out wheel a car. Put him in any of the touring outlaw cars and he would take it to the front. Hummmmm, TSR 2 car team next year on the WoO series. Yea, Yea, he's going cup racing. But you never know.
