My son in law recommended the site as a place to post songs for free. His band plays the bigger clubs around the Twin Cities and upper Midwest. The band is called VIA and is listed as VIAROCKVIAROLL on YouTube. They take is more serious than I do. My music is for fun and any opportunity to play in bands was derailed by raising four kids.
Music is a fun hobby and hopefully I can stick with it as long as Keith Richards and Willie.

Finally got to spend a few minutes on the computer so here's a link to my song creation. Wash Your Hands
This public service announcement has been approved by SK Meissner. And before anyone rips my singing and playing, I play music for shits and giggles and the only band I've ever been in was a garage band in high school around 1966/1967.

Stan, do you know anything about Terrt Kath? Amazing picker who died (stupidly) at 32 but left a legacy of licks and vocals?
There is a documentary made by his Daughter, that premiered at the Toronto Film Festival back in 2016. The rights of this are held by Amazon.com and this Doc is not available up here in Canada, grrr.
Is there anyone out there who has a copy of this and can put on a clickable link here that I can watch? I can't tell you how much I would be in your debt, thanks in advance and stay healthy.....Mike
PS The Documentary is titled, The Terry Kath Experience

This is gonna sound lame but with sporting events, gyms, bars, restaurants, malls, churches and basically everything closed, hell I have been working 55-60 hours per week, its essentially all there is to do.

Mean while I've just been building trike kits trying to get everything delivered that has been sold. Thankfully I started ordering parts months ago for inventory when the virus was just getting here.
Parts and and pieces are already hard to get. Vendors closing, lack of redily available inventory. This is what is going to cause very big issues in the near future.
Pro shocks and Afco in Indiana sent me an email at noon Tuesday that they were shutting down for at least two weeks. Speedway is remaining open. Fortunately I was able to order shocks and springs before they shut down. Had everything in inventory except shocks and springs because I never thought about a company like them to go on hiatuse for a while. Thankfully Brian got me all taken care of for now.
These times are going to be challenging for everyone.

I'm pretty familiar with Burton Cummings from the Guess Who out of Winnipeg. I am also familiar with Thomas Kennedy out of Winnipeg and his 21k baby blue Sprint Car. Tom Nesbitt Late Model HOF driver is out of Thunder Bay and I have shot the breeze with him a few times as well. I was never a huge Chicago fan but I liked the harder stuff like Ozzy and Zeppelin.

Enjoy Chicago as well (not as much as Steely Dan though . Have a soft spot for “Call on Me”. Released in ‘74 around the time I met my wife. Been married for 45 years.

Congrats on the 45. Ironically today is our 50th and we can't go anywhere. Minnesota is allowing take out but our favorite place is closed on Monday so we can't even pick something up until tomorrow. I know, it's a minor inconvenience compared to what some are dealing with so we can wait until tomorrow.

Stan the early years of Chicago with Terry Kath was harder than virtually any band was playing, most didn't know or follow which is a reflection of them, not TK. With all your extra time now do yourself a BIG favor and listen to CTA 1 and Chicago 2-4. You will discover the man, the myth, the legend, Terry Kath, Lead Guitar. Like you I was playing Guitar back then and seeing them LIVE in '69 rank up there amongst the highlights of my life.....

Love these guys also. Great, great lyrics and a 2 man band with many studio sitters helping them create that special sound. I used to wonder why I never saw them around much or on TV and then I found out it was basically Donald and Walter and the next man up, amazing!! Heck, when you check Wikipedia and see Band Members it only lists Donald Fagen as Walter passed a couple of years ago...
My favorite line by them is one that good friend former WoO PR man Richard Day loves,
"They call ALABAMA the Crimson Tide Call me Deacon Blues

Speaking of what I'm doing now I just poached my racing budget for the fist half of the racing season and ordered a new guitar from Sweetwater. It's one of the higher end Epiphone SG's with humbuckers and coil splitting. It's almost identical to my Gibson but has the humbuckers instead of P90's. I'm that confident that I won't have to concern myself with having a racing budget until July at the earliest.
