Couple things re: Jackson.
Great racing and nice format. For large shows like this, they maybe need to consider adding concessions or more options for F&B.
And one other thing, I wish they would either charge to park all 3 days or none of it. Its a small issue with me, but since I didnt have to pay to park Thurs night (I skipped Friday) I figured there would be no charge Saturday. Its only $5...but the consistency threw me off. Grabbed some cash at ATM before races and didnt account for that $5. Again...not a huge deal, but small annoyance.
If you are ever passing by Jackson for any reason and are hungry, you must go to Kat's Hog Heaven downtown Jackson. Food and service are out of this world amazing.
Last. Next year need to coordinate with the ASCoC and see if they can take some time off their schedule so their drivers can attend Jackson Nationals.

+1 on coordinating with the ASCoC. Would be great to have that field/high caliber of cars attend as well.
++1 on Kat's Hog Heaven. Food is incredible! I didn't visit the restaurant but did take advantage of the track concession stand selling some of their items. The pork tenderloin sandwich is out of this world. Saw their name on a couple of cars as sponsors, always happy to support those supporting the sport.
Also on the $5 parking. $5 isn't a huge deal and reasonable, especially to be able to park "at" the track. However, with Thursday and Friday night being free, it would be nice to announce up front that Saturday night would have a fee. I did hear grumblings from surrounding fans saying that this is a decision made by the fair grounds and not the track personnel. No idea on the truth to this...
The city of Jackson seems like a nice community. I didn't take advantage of golf or biking like I have in the past, too hot this year!

Doug, I left you a phone message on Friday not sure if you ever got it?
I wanted to tell you the place is Great, from the track prep, to the way the show is run and about everything else. I have seen a bunch of shows from Jackson this year on PPV and they were all run as professionally as last weekend, you and Tod have done a helluva job!! It's nice to see an old photo buddy move up the ladder and do such a special job, very proud of ya'....

I know for past events that inlcude WoO there they typically charge. I wasnt mad about $5 and its a great deal no doubt...like I said, its just odd that it isnt consistent all 3 nights. Just sort of throws a guy off. I am sure it is all the fairgrounds people or board. Hopefully, like in past, the parking money collected goes to support a local charity or non profit.

Not a bad idea at all. July 29-Aug 1, 2020? Sounds good to me

This would work for next year as there’s 4 weeks between the Royal and the Nationals, but alot of times there are only 3 weeks which leaves only 2 weekends in between which are saved for the Summer Nats at the Grove and the Ironman at Pevely.

The parking is the Jackson County Fair Board, has nothing to do with the race track. It's a different situation with what Tod owns and what is the Fair boards. As far as having the Nationals the last week in July that is our Fair week so not likely to happen. I thought the racing was GREAT all 3 nights and very good crowds too. Temps. were crazy but all in all a pretty great weekend of racing.
