I'll probably be in Mansfield but Nash-Vegas might be the place to be that weekend. You can catch some craft sprint car racing, drink craft beer, get a half sleeve of craft tatoos, buy some craft skinny jeans, go Honky-Tonkin' on Broadway, grow a craft beard, get a cafe latte at a real craft coffee shop in the Gulch, take a bunch of selfies for Instagram, yell "Whoooooooooo!!!" at a bachelorette party on a pedal tavern........

So much to consider.

Oh it’s one of these again? Knoxville gets a post like this every year. There will end up 60-70 cars there.,

You just have to love those races where one person gets half the purse.

Oh my god, shut the hell up. We should be praising promotors like Cody. There's two $5k-to-win features Thursday, two $5k-to-win features Friday, and a feature Saturday that pays $2k-to-start and you're still finding a reason to bitch about it. The format is insanely fair as well. Every time you're on the track you can better yourself for Saturday night. Last year's SCWC was probably the best sprint car race of the year. The fact 2nd place "only" paid $20k made it that much more exciting.

20g for 2nd is like winning 2 WoO  A mains, or 4 Ascoc or 10 weekly shows. Something not many people get to do. So finishing 2nd is a big win and finishing first is a really huge win.

I would say a lot more drivers have a chance at 2nd than 1st and it still pays big.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Anybody know if DD is running this event this year? He did last year and ran well. He wasn't pre-registered last time I looked. Dewease/69K is.

I could careless if it's sanctioned or unsanctioned. A race that will probably get 60-75+ quality cars is a race worth seeing. Especially if you spread the show across multiple days. The whole purse & body putting on the show is for other people to decide. A competitive field of cars is all I need to go.

Pre entry lists don’t mean much of anything. People can back out, lose rides, switch rides, among other things. We’ll find out how good car count is about Wednesday before the race.

Danny Dietrich is currently chasing points at Williams Grove and he said he would really like to go to Mansfield and was hoping the Grove would rain out so they could go. However, at this time he's likely going to be at Williams Grove

There will be only 60 I’d imagine show up as the 7k team folded up, unless Conley puts something together for this race

i know that any racer on any given night CAN win, however, in your estimation, what would be the number of realistic high odds drivers that can pull off a win sat. night, for instance Tim Shaffer would have been a top choice last year. when you have a race of this caliber & plenty of top notch drivers yet no clear cut favorite its kind of fun to  see what others may speculate. personally, from looking at this list, i would say upwards of 15, of course always partial to the cali kids-go Buddy, Rico, Cory, Gio, Kody
