Macedo came up the track and made contact with Haude, so he wasn't completely ahead of him wouldn't you say?! As tight as the three of them were racing, changing a line is not a wise thing to do. Macedo caused it imo.

Nevermind. I figured out how to slow it down on youtube, but it shows exactly the same thing as full speed. Contact between the RR of the #2 and the LF of the #17.

They call that sprint car racing. It's going to happen, nobody's fault.

Macedo obviously did not have his mirrors adjusted properly, and his spotter should be fired.

I really like watching Haud, but sometimes he puts himself in a no win situation.

Changing your lane going in to a turn has disaster written all over it. Thankfully Haud is okay.

Macedo moved up the track and Haud held his line. Racing deal, just unfortunate.
As a Haud fan, what pisses me off more is him making the same mistake in 3 and 4 on consecutive laps. He has to clean that up or he's going to find himself in the #93 again.

Looks like a racing incident. To answer the original question no Macedo did not see him since he was basically 95% ahead of Haud. There are not spotters, mirrors, and I do not think Carson has eyes in the back of his head. At that point he is most likely focusing on trying to get around Madsen and it is not like he took a huge move out of left field entering the corner. Yes he "moved" up or "switched" lanes slightly but I have seen bigger names make bigger moves than that before. I would say it is just as risky for someone to be running on another drivers right rear as it is for a driver to change lanes. If you don't leave yourself enough room to react to the driver ahead of you it could turn into bad news for both of you. And I am a fan of both drivers so it I hate seeing it happen no matter what.

i agree it was just a racing deal and not that big of a crash imo.
reminds me of the front strech in Chico...
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...
