So are we answering these questions with confidence or speculation... Cause I aint gettin it!
1. So is the night before the ironman for Aug 3 cancelled and replaced with last years ironman?
2. Are we agreeing that the event does not have a scheduled fuel stop but they always take one cause they need one due to accumulated laps since the tank was filled?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

1. Yes
2. No, the Ironman 55 lap feature has been run without a red flag fuel stop in the past. If my memory is correct, it has only happened once.

Since Friday show now pays 20k also is there any chance some Thursday night 360 Nationals qualifiers like Brown, Eliason, Scelzi, Kaeding, Sammy, Golobic, Hodnett, etc could run down for Friday? Especially if there 360 qual night goes poorly and they decide to bail altogether and run the double?

That’s an interesting question. I assume most will stay put but if you have a terrible qualifying night and you’re out of contention, you might consider going to Pevely for the weekend. Especially a gasser like Eliason might do really well there.

There's no scheduled fuel stop. Alot of times they will stop for fuel after a caution comes out for something else so that doesn't really affect the race but a few times they stopped the race for fuel when the leaders were just getting into traffic and the race was just getting good which sucked. I just prefer 40 lap features they seem to have better races to me that's all. I'll quit crying about it now.....

Just to be clear, I also wish they would only run 40 laps.
