In my opinion Hanford needs to fix some things.
The first thing is the announcers
Have fans stand during parade lap and sit down for start like every other sprint track in the country (this isn't NASCAR).
Stop acting like high school cheerleaderes and start providing some useful information about racing and tonights program.
Troy Henning had a comment from a fan in his "weekend thoughts" After the races a fan came to the booth and said, “thank you for allowing some quiet time for us fans to talk during breaks in the racing and for also not being a radio DJ and blasting music all night.” This would be great advice for Dave!
Only use the a cheap ploy of "are you proud to be an American" one time during the night.
Second item is to do a much better job of track prep and be careful with the hot laps and qualifing to try to manage the nites racing so the track is racy when it comes time for the mains. Keep the show moving.
Whats on your list.
Big TK fan

I would agree, this IS Hanford's last chance........more to the point, Frank's.
He, like his predecessor has neglected their responsibility as the "caretaker" of one of America's fabled and revered dirt tracks. Instead of creating an environment that attracts fans and rewards racers he has taken-taken-taken. Track prep is poor to nonexistent, entry fees for "special" races are a gouge, racers have to chase-down their winnings and seemingly he has made no effort to get along with either the CRA or Golden State. Heck, he can't even work with Harvey and that is not that complicated. Can anyone explain how this guy convinced the fair board he would be better than Tarlton?
Let's see how the Cotton turns out. If it sucks it won't be Davey Boy's fault

You Northern Cal fans be thankful you have JPM and some other promoters that know what they are doing. It would be a good idea if the promoter at Hanford would of first been to a race and seen how it should be run, or at least hire people that know what they are doing. Oh wait, he did but ran them all off.
I live less than a mile from this track and will not go there unless there is nothing else going on in the state.
