I had the pleasure of talking to Bob a few times at the Knoxville Nationals a few times! Seemed to be a very kind man!! This is truly a said day for our sport! I never got the chance to ever see Bob race but have heard many stories and read many articles about his racing career, sounds like he was one tough son of a bitch!! My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Kinser family at this most difficult time. Just know we are wrapping our arms around you and giving comfort at this time!! RIP Bob Kinser

Thoughts are with the Kinser family. I love the picture of him that's circulating on social media right now with the bandana and the cigar. RIP Mr Kinser.

I had the pleasure of visiting Mr.Kinser when He ran the Sonner 47 in the Masters Classic probably around 1995.He said He prefered the smaller tracks and said when He became Steves Dad instead of Bob his son was one of the best ever.I remember him as very polite and happy to be asked to drive Gils car.RIP Lenard,Gil,and Bob will be there to welcome him.
