Does anyone know why guys like Wayne Johnson and Aaron Reutzel arent running their 410s at Jackson? Does ASCS have a rule against this?

Great question, I was wondering the exact same. Maybe with $10k on the line tonight for 410's they will bring their big iron out of the hauler. Fingers crossed...

Reutzel raced both cars Sat night as well and had a pretty crappy night.
I think the only race he finished was his 360 heat. Dropped out of the 360 B feature while leading. Took provisional to start 360 A and dropped out shortly after starting.
Pulled off of the track before finishing a Time Trial lap with the 410. Dropped out of the heat race after passing a few cars. Came out to start at the back of the 410 A but was called back into the pits for a "transponder issue" and the field took the green flag without him.

It was actually to start the 360 A not the 410 A and it was a down nozzle issue not a transponder issue.

What was the issue with the 410 then?
I'm almost positive he pushed off for the 410 feature, idled around the track once or twice and drove off the east end of the front straight towards the pits. Could have swore they announced over the PA that they were having an issue with his transponder.

Not even possible.
The 360 does not have down nozzels. ASCS rules do not allow them.

It was the 360 feature and the issue with the 410 was just that. A 410. According to ascs rules you can’t run an aluminum 410 with down nozzles in ascs 360 events. Glad to see ascs officials enforce that rule last night.
