Is there a reason why T. McCarl has not been seen at Jackson this year? I realize he missed the Jackson Nationals due to being inducted into the Knoxville HOF but I do not recall him racing there at all this year.

Think it has anything to do with when he got injured and Sammy out performed him and Todd gave Terry's ride to Sammy?

I noticed that too. There have been some big purses at Jackson and he has done well there over the years. There was a lot of hoopla with the NSL and Badlands a few years ago and I was chastised for taking a wait and see approach. Now after the dust has settled Badlands is closed, the NSL is no more and one of the best drivers in the Midwest and his sons aren't racing at Jackson.
Politics aside the improvements at Jackson and some of their big specials look like they'd be fun to attend. I still haven't managed to get down there since it became the Motorplex but it's on my "to do" list.

He also just picked up some Kansas City brewing company this year too I thought. Still find it a little odd with zero trips to Jackson. Plenty of weeks other than Jackson Nationals or this weekend where he went elsewhere. End of the day it's his decision.

He lost the ride in 2010 he had 19 wins in 2009. Never said anything bad about Terry just asking the question, notice the question mark?

LOL. My bad. Sure seemed like a snarky statement/opinion with a "question mark" at the end. Never the less, my opinion would be, the stats would not show that Sammy out performed anybody back in those years. Terry was winning races left and right. I saw a lot of them. Sammy had about zero going for him At the time terry got injured. In fact I believe it was terry himself who wanted Sammy in the car to continue the success of the 24 after he got injured. Just my thoughts.

I'd say Terry made a wise decision since he won at Lake Ozark last night.
