Impressive start on his first year with WOO.  Ian, his Crew, and his Sponsors deserve two thumbs up for their performance so far.  I hope he runs the WOO all year..

Ian's look really good and consistent (which is the key with WoO) so far...but he's not running WoO all year. He said before the year that they'll run 60ish WoO shows and a mix of Midwest + big shows too. Schedule is on his website. No matter what he's off to a consistent and strong start (and hasn't torn up or used up much equipment).

This is just my opinion, but Ian and Brownie's teams seem very similar.  Sponsors are midwest based and they are building a team that can win any night they race.  However, they aren't following the WoO tour because is makes no sense for their partners/sponsors.   Never have figured out how you can convince a company to give you $$ to sponsor your team and then never race (or very seldon race) where they are located and where their customers are located.

Bingo!  And Brownie does the Western swing of WoO because of his partnership with FVP and their partnership with some of those WoO races.  Ian/KCP team definitely seems to be modeling after the success Brownie has had.  And it works for them.  Still hit a really good number of WoO Shows, keep sponsors in Midwest happy and hit big shows (King's Royal, etc.).  It's a formula that has worked for Brownie and should work well for KCP/Ian.

Based on the schedule, they seem to be chasing Knoxville points.

While they've have a really strong start, I'd peg them to finish about 6th or 7th in the final rundown anyway once Pittman and Stewart get going.
