Was at the Frontier Region ASCS race at  Hub of the Valley in Montana last night. 23 Cars Gee won.

Also heard that the 360 NSL serries was in trouble and might shut down.

Any truth?

At any ASCS race you hear 360 NSL is in trouble, been hearing it all year. Dont think there is any truth to them being in trouble.

Not sure what the answer is, but of course the NSL won't survive with those kinds of car counts. Too bad. Unfortuneatly there are those that would just as soon see it fail. That's what I don't get. Why wouldn't everyone from fans to sponsors to promoters want something that may lead to sprint car growth to succeed?

It was a Thursday night race, not many 360's in the area that race for a living. Who do we have....Ian madsen, TK, Brown, Juhl, T-mac! Henderson, so on a Thursday night your going to get those 6 guys plus the guys with in an an hour or 2 drive. It's going to take the 3 tracks an the NSL to put egos aside and in 2-3 years if everything and everybody works for the betterment of the sport you could see guys move to the area for the summer and run both 360 and 410 3-4 nights a week. And fans and drivers thrive. Already you have forler, bergman, polyak, k. Madsen, spend time in the Midwest and even cars pass through. How many times before it his year has Blaney made a stop at Knoxville for a weekly show?

Another thing is they were running a new format last night. Draw for heats and run heats then the top 16 cars were made into tow qualfier races. There were 8 cars in each race. Main was lined up according to points in the heat and the qualifier with no draw.

The NSL Show-Me region average thus far is 23 and the Diamond Region average is 24.

With the the ascs drivers letting it be known that they were threatened with the loss of their season tow  money if they race an NSL race, I don't see a compromise coming.

305's are the herpes of sprint cars

We made the 5 1/2 hour trip to Fairmont. Had hoped to race Jackson Friday night but mother nature didn't cooperate. The payout was one of the best around. Appreciate the Fairmont State Bank helping out with the races they have there. Hopefully there will be a few more cars for the next race in a couple weeks. I did hear there were some racers that had motor issues that prevented them from attending.

well i think thats what you get for having thursday show at one of the most abrasive tracks this side of the Mississippi. Not only are you asking those teams to take off an extra day of work, youre also asking them to go through $800 in tires because shes rubbered up during heat races. Also when the big boys show up, you have to bolt new tires on or else you stand zero chance.
