Just curious , how would you rate the top 5 racing facilities locally in Pa ? Here's my picks ,whats yours 1. Port Royal 2. Susquehanna 3. Lincoln 4 . Williams Grove 5. Selinsgrove I rated these in fan comfort , convenience for men and women fans .
Also how would you rate top 5 tracks as far as racing Quality , 1. Susquehanna 2. Lincoln 3. Grandview 4. PathValley 5. Port Royal and Williams Grove , tied because of size of tracks

I don't see the point in putting together power rankings. As long as all the tracks stay open and they all continue to provide great spring car racing, it's a great big tie at #1.

Lernerville Speedway is hands down the top dirt track in Pennsylvania and as far as quality racing, facility, etc again "The Action Track" Lernerville Speedway is at the top of the class.

You have a wide variety which makes it a great place to be a fan, unless you've had too much of the kool-aid like a few in this forum have. For the most part, some of the best racing with the best fan base in the country and I've seen them all....

Not a chance dude. I'm not going to argue politics because its the biggest waste of time in the world but you couldn't be more wrong on that ASSumption. So I suppose in your simple mind, someone who loves and appreciates the sport of sprint car racing as a whole and enjoys attending races at each and every facility in our area (because they're all very good and all are in their own way, very unique) must be a dumb socialist liberal? The fact that you think I'm one of the biggest assholes on this board truly is a compliment coming from you.

We have Lincoln, Williams Grove, Susquehanna, Port Royal, Big Diamond, Grandview, Path Valley, Bedford, Selinsgrove, Lernerville, and smaller tracks like Kutztown all within a 4 hours radius pretty much. All have their own qualities that make them great. We are just lucky to live in such an amazing area with awesome competition, great fans, and wonderful facilities.

Looks like Robert is trying to start an argument so he can then cry that you guys are wrong and do not really know him.
As for facilities, I do not care. I want to see great racing. That is all I want from a racetrack. I have seen some awesome shows at some real dumps.
Lucas oil speedway is probably the nicest facility in the world for a dirt track but until they resurfaced it a while back the racing there was average or below. I'll take the dump with great racing any day'

In my opinion...The tracks in posse land are just a little behind the tracks of the Midwest. In both raciness and facilities...
kutztown is setup nicely, port has come a long way, Lincoln is nice, susky and path valley are being rebuilt...williams grove needs a injection, lernerville is top notch and they are replacing the bleachers
Something to think about...tracks that sell beer on site seem to have better facilities....very few tracks on PA sell beer due to liquor license laws....coincidence? Lost revenue??

Roaring knob is another great track in PA.
grandview provides 2-3 grooves of racing on most nights
bedford is another HUGE fairground track. Possibly the longest track in PA.
trail ways is a small little bullring They have a 410 race on the schedule this year. Very small grandstand...smaller than gas city

Not sure I would put Trail way in the "small little bullring" catagory, I don't remember the grandstands being particularly small, it's been a few years soooo

Thank you Mr. 19 Posse , well said in regards to some good points made .Yes, Lucas Oil Speedway is a great facility , one of the nicest if not the best in the USA , I think in some ways better then Knoxville besides grandstand size as Knoxville has a larger one . But my point was in Pa in regards to the facilities and racing action .

Instead of debating the best Central PA tracks...how about this...If you could combine your favorite aspects of several tracks to make a dream track, what would they be? Mine:
1. Grove track w/Fred Putney prepping it
2. Lincoln food...Rt 30 seafood, Sensenigs
3. Port grandstands & new bathrooms
4. Fred Rahmer as a promoter
5. Bruce Ellis announcing
