Kasey was on a rail last night. While he's a talented cat (gotta give him that for sure) it wasn't talent that won him the race last night. Lee had that car dead on last night and was Kasey's race to lose. Definitely in his own zip code.
What worries me more is this is a glimpse of how we are gonna stack up against the Outlaws here in a few weeks. I love our locals racers and will get behind them as much as anybody, but they have a lot of work to do if they don't want the Outlaws to kick their teeth in. Kasey was in an Outlaw ride last night, and showed just how far behind our guys are IMO.
About Hodnett's early season success. It isn't because he's been that good. I think it's because the rest of the locals have been that bad. That's my take on what I saw last night

As much as I like and respect all of Central Pa's racers, it wouldn't bother me one bit if the WoO came in and kicked the shit out of the Posse for a year or two. Maybe it would be just enough to shut up some of the loud mouthed assholes who give the majority of Pa fans a bad reputation. The Outlaws are the best in the world. They should win most of the time.

Ah, a "glass half empty " guy...
Smith & Dietrich both beat the Outlaws last year, Hodnett would probably be Top 3 if he ran Outlaws tour, definitely Top 5

We finally disagree.....
Don't be a fink.... GO POSSE!
Losing would just make "loud mouthed assholes" get more ridiculous
I thought it was pretty damn funny tho a while back when somebody on this board described Posse fans as "a bunch of New Yorkers dumped in a trailer park"..... I'm a former Noo Yawka, who has lived in trailer parks, & roots for Posse...
& speaking of that, anyone watch "Trailer Park Boys"? funny as hell

Trailer Park Boys is funny as hell. Think the new season is on tomorrow. Back to the topic, was it a racey track last night? If it was, pretty hard to take away kudos to Kahne's win.

Nope just a realist. As for Stevie, he's a great racer but he's just one guy. Obviously Hodnett is the another. As for Dietrich, he's not been as good with this new chassis that he has been running.

He'd be top 7 at best. Definitely not top 3.
Hodnett is a really good driver and competes very well with the outlaws at tracks he knows, but the majority of the tracks on the schedule he hasnt raced at in years or at all and he'd struggle just like everyone else does.

You only need one guy to be on his game. Rahmers team has a step on everyone at the grove and hodnett has been quick. Marks is due for a win as well. It'll be interesting to see how Sweet does at the Grove, he's struggled there but obviousmy ran port and Lincoln well last year.

You are right though. No amount of winning or losing will shut those types up. Assholes always figure out a way to be assholes despite the circumstances.

The new season comes out on Tuesday. The boys have been back in a big way over the past couple of years. They now own the rights to everything Trailer Park Boys and all episodes, movies, specials etc. are exclusively on Netflix. They've done 2 new seasons since the old run plus a movie called "Don't Legalize It" which was their last work with Mike Clattenburg before they took over on their own. There's also 2 or 3 live shows on Netflix as well. I went to see them a couple years ago along with Randy and Lahey and they were amazing. My whole body hurt from laughing so hard and of course, Bubs ended the show by doing a live rendition of Liquor and Whores. It was amazing. If you ever get the chance to catch them live, do it. You won't be disappointed.

Hodnett finished tied for 4th in points at the Winter Heat, a track he's never raced before.
If not for a mechanical DNF (pinion shaft same thing which bit him opening day at the grove)
would have won overall title or finished 2nd against Stewart, Pittman, Saldana, Blaney, & Lasoski.

I had no idea. I have 1st 8 seasons on DVD, didn't even know it was still on. Can't find it on Comcast (hate them, but only thing my apt. will allow) What station are you watching on?
I'm gonna try to find if Season 9 is available on DVD

Good point. I was there, & forgot all about that (duh). Plenty of Outlaws in the house at that event

A 5 race one week tour against half the outlaws is not exactly the Outlaw tour....
