THIS IS VERY URGET...THATS WHY I MADE THE FONT SO BIG...
I just got off the phone with Brea Lopez. As some of you know they were traveling down to Orlando to go to the PRI show. They were in Missouri and had stopped to get a hotel, and someone stole everything right out from under them. Their truck the trailer everything. The car was in the trailer. Pretty much they don't even have a spare part left. If you are going down to Florida or know anyone that is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell them to keep their eyes peeled for these things. I will be going down so of course I am going to search as far and wide as I can. The truck is black and the trailer is all white. Of course Brea's car is a red Beast with black body work. If you see anything suspicious like people selling a complete set or a spare engine (Esslinger) please call me ASAP. My phone number is 503-261-3998. The sooner you call me the sooner we can notify the police. Thank you and please keep Brea in your thoughts. Mary Jo Hinkle

The truck was a Black 2005 Dodge Ram. The plates are Washington. The trailer is a white Exiss with two big decals on the back. One is a WMRA decal and the other is a Red Line Oil one. She only told me that they were right outside of Kansas City. When I talk to her again I will ask if she knows more exact locations. Thanks for the help!

Brea Lopez Race Team Needs your help !
We were on our way
to Orlando, Florida for the PRI Sprint and Midget Classic; we stopped
right outside of Kansas City, Missouri at a hotel to sleep for the
night. We got up around 6 am and walked outside and everything was
gone. Our truck was a Black 2005 Dodge Ram, and our trailer was a white
Exiss with two big decals on the back one is a WMRA logo and one is a
Red Line Oil decal. Every single piece of my racing operation was in
that trailer. The Chassis was a red powder coated 2005 Beast, with
black carbon fiber pannels. The motor is an esslinger. Our tool box
with all of our tools, shocks and springs, wheels and tires, quad, all
of my safety equipment, spare axels rear ends, I can't even name it all
off. I really don't even know what to say right now. Just please if
anyone hears or sees anything, please let me know. Email me at
[email protected]. Thanks.
If seen please call the authorities immediately. Than please contact Dan Press, Telephone - 360-295-3937 Truck License Washington State A82018X Trailer License Washington State 4533RV

thats just messed up. and thats the edited version of what I really want to say. If no one sees or hears anything then here are couple of things to look out for.
This is not the kind of stolen stuff one holds on to for any length of time.......they probably have nowhere to hide or store it. So they will try to get rid of it quickly. Hiethens like these probably don't know anyone that would/could buy it so: check newspaper adds and whatever other methods someone would use to get rid of this kind of stuff fast. also try to look on the computer for adds in places like e-bay and anywhere in the net one could get try to sell it.
The one thing you do know is these people have no business with the contents of that trailer. So they will try ti sell it very fast either or as a whole or stripped-down.
I'm so sorry to hear bout this. I do hope you may get lucky and catch a break and these thieves get caught and get whats comin to em. Odds are more in your favor than you might think considering the contents and size of the property. BTW don't let the police dick you round. Ride em like a wave.....it's your right to. Might try lookin/talkin in different counties.
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a
wouldchuck could chuck would

OKC is right,... ride the Kansas City and MO police like a wave. Make sure you let them know how rare the contents of the trailer are. Get this word out as far as possible. For the next month don't let the police forget you lost something important, because if you let it slide with the State PD they will too. So bug them.
Keep the Trailer brand and plate numbers out, all decals, and if anything they will try and sell the motor first off hand...almost anyone wants to sell a race engine first off hand. It has to be the hardest to fence off for anyone..(CJ Degree here)
Did you have any kind of markings on anything? Engravings, Stickers or even lip stick on the tires...Anything ?!! Make it known!
I hope you get it all back....My heart says in time you will

My guess is either racers or tweakers stole the rig. If it's racers, they may know how to get rid of the stuff. More likely though, some meth-heads stole it and it will be found in a field ransacked with all the tools gone. I think they will get their car and trailer back. The junkies just want stuff they can pawn quickly, like snap-on tools. I would contact evry pawn shop in the KC area. It's just a matter of time. Good luck! This is every racers worst nightmare.

Ebay, keep checking ebay cause it has become a big fencing site for people who have no idea what something is and want to sell it.

I linked this thread to a couple of other forums. This will maybe increase the number of folks looking out for that stuff.

Dan Press released this just a little while ago...
good news our truck trailer and race car have been found, I don't think the tool cart or quad or any of the small parts were found but the main things are there. there was a lot of help in the recovery it all started with Marty Boyer getting the word out on the radio and the usac web site and Loren getting the word out on the Midget madness site. Then today a Trucker from Kansas Mo, called and said he saw the Black midget with a white 25 sitting behind a white trailer by some brown buildings next to a flying J truck stop I don't know his name but the guy is number one in my book I called the police and gave them the info then another officer called me Mark Hockemeier he was a racer from Kansas city and I gave him the info then his partner officer Brandon steele went over along with Thanks to Rob Lindsey his cousin Rachel Lambert who is also married to a police officer in Kansas city they all went over and found the car and truck and trailer Rachel had the rig taken to there place and even took my truck over to some friend that works at the dodge dealer to have it repaired I can't thank all these people enough for all there effort in getting our stuff back it says a lot for the racing comunity and how strong that bond is I hope I didn't leave anyone out who helped us with our problems. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dan Press

The other post on this website tells a little more information. From the other post I noticed that the thieves only took certain items. I'm glad that they got their car, truck, and trailer back.
