We won't be making it to the Oval Nationals. I think that's the same weekend as the WoO race at Charlotte? He's planning on heading East for that race since he'll be at Little Rock for the Short Track Nationals the weekend before. I'd love to get to Perris one day though!

I've never known the IRA to do an audio broadcast. But the WoO will be doing a broadcast tomorrow night on Dirtvision from Charter. C'mon Savage, you're suppose to know this stuff! LOL

Ask Wayne which is better, his cars now or that $1,000 5 pd. BMX bicycle his Dad bought him when he showed promise in that arena! LOL
A story about Henry. Henry Johnson could be tough and sometimes seem a little mean. One time he made a negative comment about my car (which was old and slow). I took it then to be arrogance but as I've grown up it seems he was trying to help. He had three boys and they all had cars with good equipment. He had done this without being rich, he earned it all. Looking at me, a poor boy without any help, he knew that could be him or worse yet, his sons. He thought that if he pissed me off, I'd try harder, success and the spoils would come as a result. Then maybe, even if he was no longer around, myself, and everyone else he treated like this would realize-- The grit of a man is necessary to overcome obstacles and proceed, sometimes a fire under the feet is all that is needed.

I never got to meet his dad but I wish I could have. Thanks for the story! I have no doubt that some of Wayne's "grit" comes from his dad and lessons just like that one.

hey Favor boy........how does one find you at Perris? if you see 2 fairly tall (for short people) folks with Ohio garb on, come up & say Hi!! Chirpys enduro ride lasted for thirty laps when he got caught up in an accident and ended up in the fence and the radiator got pushed into the fan causing him to overheat.
