Being from Vegas I have seen all to many dissapointing spriny car races here because of lousey track conditions. We got very lucky at the beginning of the year at the two day show that there was some great racing on a black track. I can only hope and pray that someone from down south can educate these people that have obviously been in the desert sun for waaaaay to long how to work or get some decent dirt on what they claim is a state of the art facility. I would love more than anything else to see CRA come up here a few times a year. Maybe someone from USAC or CRA can take someone fromLVMS down to Manzy and show them that you can put on a good show on good clay in the desert sun. All we can do is pray for a tacky track, but it hasn't happened here yet. Note to LVMS, wake up. We want CRA back for years to come so get it right

1) Start watering on the 25th. 2) Call Ray Sheetz at Perris. Looks like he's pretty much sussed how to get the PAS to be "passable" when it's been 100 degrees every day for a a week there.

I agree with you Frank, The problem is the dirt in Vegas is just that DIRT. They need to get real clay on that track before it will ever hold any moisture through a full show. Earlier this year they had so much water on the track that the push trucks were not able to start the cars. The cars couldn't even get off the track after wheel packing. By the heat races it was dry slick.

I hope Tony is all healed up by the Vegas race , he put on probably the best show I have ever whitnessed on a dry slick track on the Thursday race. The Friday race was the usual (get out of the low grove and go to the back) I'm drawing a blank on who was leading the Friday race and lost trying to lap a back marker but I'm sure he remembers .

LVMS get some real CLAY and lets go racing.
