Was he saying that he's the best in the business or was he talking about his crew in his post race interview? Another tight race between the 9 and 15. I know he said that he had been testing some new things over the past month. I guess he was testing ways to nearly lose all of his point lead. He won tonight, nothing a quick time won't cure. He was probably bent when he took that checkered and saw that mopar right behind him. This is great! Where you at Supa? This is your time to shine. Oh great run by the old man in chico #64.

Are you serious, a tight race?? In Spencer last night or are you talking about points?

They finished 1st and 2nd right? There are no extra points for finishing 2 seconds earlier.

schatz was in his own time zone once he got in front.
the points are close but the schedule favors donny now
it will be close but they are both gonna have to stay on their game. if joey wins it he will deserve it

I thought you meant tight race like wheel to wheel...I would love to see Joey win the points race. Donny would really have to flop for that to happen but it sure would create some good hype for the sport!!

Are you talking about the testing done with the chemical engineer and the non-detectable fuel additive?

Schatz doesn't belong to the wind tunnel / seven post rig club...just yet. Kasey Kahne's deal has had a ton more money thrown at it this year...to run second...lol.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car

Never cared for Schatz .... has the personality of a tree stump .... however .... he has started to make me a fan of his just with his driving. I have seen him like 6 times I'd guess in person and everytime he has drove by the competition like they had 360's. My hat's off to his crew his dad and Donny .... they are focused and fast. The suggestion of cheating is just sour grapes. Heavy rough track (Osky) slick smooth track (Knoxville) and everything in between they are fast and look unbeatable the last 2 years.

Was at the race in Spencer last night and just want to congratulate the #15 Global Parker Store's Team for the win! That car was HOOKED up and could go virtually anywhere Donny decided to put it, Great Job Crew!! And WOW, how 'bout Donny Schatz behind the wheel of that hooked up machine? I have seen a lot of incredible moves......but that move to split those lap cars coming out of turn 4 with Dollansky, Saldana, and I believe Shaffer hot on his tail........SIIDAH!!!!! From 6th to 1st, great run Schatz, 15th win for the #15, keep 'em coming!!!!!

Yeah, I guess it was time for Dinky Donny to gain some points. Since he hasn't done it in about a month. Yeah Kahne's deal has had a ton of money thrown at it this year, but Schatz has had a ton of luck thrown at him. It really even's out. Let's face it, "it aint over till the fat Donny sings", and right now his necks a bit tight. Supa I own you, bring it!

Schatz is going over to Tony Stewart's stable next year. They run a differne chassis over there than he is used to. The testing has been with the new chassis he will race with next year. At Gold Cup here in Chico he was anything but happy with it. Maybe he and the crew are now getting a handle on it.

This guy has two things working for him. He's good and he's lucky. I'm sure it would take some research but it sure seems he qualify's just good enough to start on the front row of his heats. Whatever the case I'm interested in the championship so hopefully it will go down to the last weekend before the winner is determined. It seems like only yesterday that there were McCarl fans bragging that he was third in points.

Did you want your crow BBQd, or roasted?
When running for championship points, I'd take good and lucky every time.
