Glad to see Craftsman getting back into motorsports. More importantly, I'm glad that they're getting involved in dirt track racing. A three year deal to be the title sponsor of both the WoO Sprints and Late Models is huge!

No logo is ugly if the company is willing to put up major league dollars to support a sport.

Amen Brother!!!   The Outlaws land a huge deal and someone is worried about the logo?!?!  Maybe people like this should direct their interests to another form of motorsports if the logo is what they are focused on.  I knew it would not be long for someone to get on the negative aspect of something great happening for the World of Outlaws!!  Next we will hear about them in debt, losing a fan base, cheating the members, or some other gripe!!  Hat's off to the Outlaws on landing a huge sponsor for a 3 year deal!!  I for one am looking forward to what the possibilities are with this outstanding news!!

I think jumping on the guys nuts about the comment is a little ridiculous. It IS an ugly set of logos, I hope the don't plan on selling too many t-shirts as a part of the deal.

However, this is a great sponshorship and seems to be a very good thing for WOO, both late models and sprints. Craftsman is a big enough brand with a demographic right in the dirt track wheelhouse, should be good promotional stuff going on at the races for fans.

Going to get rid of that blue Channellock tool chest and replace it with the red Craftsman!  Yep, that's what I'm a gonna do and that's as negative as I'm gonna be!

This is great news for the World of Outlaws and sprint car racing as a whole. Hopefully this will be a deal that goes on for years and years to come.

Pretty solid sponsor, & I suspect sprint car fans spend more $$$ on tools than STP

Good news

Is Craftsman a subsidiary of Sears or is Sears just their largest retailer?  Will Sears be around in 3 years, they don't seem very solid company.

It's a subsidiary. Sears is in bad shape financially but if they go under I'm sure someone will buy craftsman as a stand alone brand. It's too iconic and valuable to just go away.
