Mine was a Brian Montieth shirt from like 12 years ago.....I remember on the back it said "have you been to the edge lately". I'll have to look around for that shirt, always loved it and I'm sure it's around the house somewhere...

Interesting reading all the replies. My favorite shirt has to be the Kenny Weld/Weikert Livestock "When the Green Flag Drops, the Bullshit Stops" shirt, because it was my first shirt, I was a Kenny Weld fan, and it was a cool shirt. Probably my second favorite was 1992 Knoxville Nationals "Another Year of Mud, Sweat, and Beers." Ironically, the '92 Nationals only had one light shower that barely settled the dust. Another interesting shirt I had, at probably 12 or 13 years old, was Carrera Shocks "Participant, 197? Knoxville Nationals." While we were looking at them, my dad said something about it saying "participant." The Carrera Shocks guy said, "you're here watching aren't you? Then you're a participant." Dad agreed and I got the shirt. I've still got most of my shirts. I've tried to keep them all, but I'm sure a few have met their demise. I recently talked to a friend about making them into quilts or blankets. She said she'd figure something out, but I haven't dug them out and got them to her, yet. I don't buy as many shirts as I used to. The designs have gotten pretty far "out there" for an old fogey, like me. Anymore, it's hard to find a shirt that catches my eye enough to buy.

My first 2 shirts I got was at the Knoxville Nationals many years ago they were a Calastoga Speedway shirt and a Jimmy Boyd shirt. A few years after that while I was helping on the Tim Green/Kenny Woodruff - Jensen Car, KW ask me where I got it.

Earliest I remember was the black WoO shirt with "Run What Ya Brung" on the back, and a white Hoosier shirt that said "Bite" and had the Speedway Motors 4x on it
