Jimmy Goodwin died on Sept.10th.Older brother of Ray Lee Goodwin,Jimmy was Raymond's inspiration to try his hand at racing back in the day of Super Modified racing in the Kansas City area.Jimmy and his wife,Janie, moved to Wheatland Mo in 1996 and enjoyed some happy years in retirement.

Jim was the eldest of four brothers.Phillip predeceased him and he leaves behind three children as well as his wife Janie and two brothers,Ray Lee and Richard.

To those of us who remember seeing Jimmy drive Jerry Gilbert's #19 and some of Elmer Layne's cars will always miss his big smile and friendly ways.
