I must have missed it. When was Turkey Night moved to Ventura ? The PAS has been a perfect Venue. And the 2015 Race was excellent. Is the move Permanant ? Jack.

I don't know the details, but yes it has been moved to Ventura for at least 2016. It was announced a couple of weeks ago when USAC released the 2016 schedule.

The racers claimed it killed their engines and they couldn't compete with Toyota at the PAS... Ventura, should negate ALL those claims. Wonder what this years excuse du jour will be.
Personally, I think the lack of midget competition out west is the main cause of not being able to keep up with Toyota.

likely more to do about $ between promoter and track.
as the high banks of Belleville has two nights, and that track is much bigger than PAS
hopefully Naylor, Aggie and usac will do a better job than what happened at PAS
Also lower ticket prices, adding sprints is a step in the right direction for fans. Now they need to work to get midget teams to come out to CA, and like Buzzard said, not having a toyota should be an excuse, but lets face it, Kunz is a genius with midgets, has a great team that prepares the cars, has resources at Toyota, and have the best drivers, they will likely contend for the win at any track there is.
Now if Jim can figure out how to turn off the air conditioning for turkey night, it came be damn cold and hard to prepare track, but I have faith in JIm to make this a special event

they dont need to work on getting more teams to come to Ca , they need to breathe some life into west coast miget racing . there is no stability for miget racers in so-cal . dont worry people , after the migets are gone here on the west coast , the sprints will be next .... its just hard to understand how USAC is letting this happen on their watch !

I surely remember the midgets on the Phoenix mile. Yup, a few motors grenaded.
