Hate this decision. I completely understand it's up to Terry and family to make this decision based on whatever reasoning they want to but not seeing him run at Knoxville weekly is going to suck.

Who cares? T twit is a puke who has burned every bridge in racing he has had . He is being paid to race there by the owner. Chuck is realizing he has no crowd draw, even with this he doesn't have any. There is no way I would spend 1 dime going to see Ttwit race there or anywhere for that matter.

He said he could be bought. Why is this a surprise?

Acutally hasnt burnt all to many bridges
But I'm sure you will enjoy watching cheaters race each night at Knoxville.
We will enjoy our Weekly show at Husets with McCarl, Lunstra, Dobmeier, Zomer, and the others that are sick of the Knoxville BS

I won't be cheering for him come nationals time thats for sure. Hopefully he gets rusty at Knoxville. I think he just disappointed a good amount of his fan base. 1/2 hour to Knoxville or 5 hours to Husets for worse pay. Brennan must really be forking out show up money. Just having Terry show up won't draw fans.

Terry showing up will draw fans at Badlands, most fans in the Sioux Falls area love to hate him. Kinda reminds me of wrestling fans. TMAC, Dobs, Zomer, maybe Kaeding. Should be so dam good racing weekly.

It's amazing how some of these guys think this is good for racing. You have this clown buying a track and paying guys to race there. Will Mcarl run Jackson Friday nights or did Badlands pay him not to run there either. In Mcarls words, the weekly purse is to good to pass up, but it's the same at Jackson. Again, how is this good? The NSL has it's faults too, but at least they did something good for racing.

Agree with above on that I don't like this decision, but the economics part of driving are already skewed because Terry is going to be up at Jackson for a 1/2 dozen nights already, so to go another 90 miles to race both Saturday and Sunday is a no brainer.

I have to agree with my old nemesis Ford, he is 100% correct. Terry has some people very jealous of all his success and does things his way, God love him for that. This is a business decision made by a business man, a successful one at that. Hate on haters, wannabees and failures, your lame posts are simply laughter for TMC, morons hiding behind a computer, real tough guys, Terry is never hard to find, walk up and tell him your views, lol.....

Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Not a bit surprised. He said he'd go where the money is. It wasn't just the purse that attracted him, 'Ol Chuck opened up his checkbook I would bet. I'm quite sure TMAC sees an easier path to the money at Huset's with less competition to deal with. Especially when you consider that there will be some pretty hefty invaders hitting Knoxville on many Saturday nights. Maybe the horizin of sprint car racing will be similar to what Wolfgang did several times in his career. To hell with points, put a good car under me and I'll race anybody, anytime, anywhere. There are quite a few good drivers out there now that will be doing a very similar thing. Racing where ever they want to.

I constantly see people come on here and complain about the cost of the sport, purses not increasing, etc. How can anyone fault TMac for making a decision to go where the money is? He has a responsiblity to himself, his team, his family, and his sponsors to make the best decisions possible and if he feels that he can make get the most of his team by running Badlands instead of Knoxville, then more power to him.
Good luck to TMac.

The only people I feel bad for are the other competitors at Huset's if indeed Chuck B "opened his wallet" to get TMAC to race there every Saturday.
What kind of message does that send to your other weekly drivers? You arent' good enough. We'd rather pay a guy from Iowa to come race than to rely on you that support us no matter what the purse is and bring in a crowd?
As far as Zomer, McCarl, Dobmeier and maybe Kaeding go, I feel bad for all of them, they all lost an entire night of racing available to them by the change to Saturday Nights (and all 4 teams likely would have ran 3 nights every weekend). Now, most (except McCarl) can race closer to home, but instead of some of these teams racing 3 nights per week (River Cities or Jackson Friday ($5000 to win at Jackson) / Knoxville Saturday ($5000 to win a majority of the time) / Huset's Sunday (Chuck could have still paid $5000 to win on Sunday), they now instead get to race two nights instead (River Cities or Jackson Friday ($5000 to win at Jackson)/ Knoxville or Badlands Saturday (both $5000 to win)/ NOTHING Sunday). That sure feels like a win for everyone.....wait, no it doesn't.

Ummmmm, Badlands is still running on Sunday nights, and the purse is $2,500 to win and $300 to start, which I believe is equal to the old 410 Sunday purse. The weekly 360 purse on Sundays is the seventh largest weekly sprint car purse of any track in the entire country, 410, 360, or 305s.
All of those guys have both engines.

No brainer=Jackson Friday Badlands Saturday Badlands Sunday. Very little travel for 3 good paying nights. And if a guy had a good 360 he could run it at Badlands Saturday and Sunday and bring home some decent cash..
