Reports from around the sprint car grape vine now have Kraig Kinser and Kody Kinser coming to Lawrenceburg this weekend. Kody is driving his father Kelly's #4k. Dion Hindi reportedly plans on coming as well according to his interview on Full Throttle a few weeks back. Unconfirmed rumor this morning that Jason Martin will also be there. In addition to the regular All Star members I have talked to Jimmy Stinson, Nick Nabor, Aaron Higgins, and some other KC regulars who plan to attend. Dean Jacobs is making an effort to break into the Top 10 in season points, so he will be there trying gain some valuable points. How many L'burg regulars will put a lid on this weekend to compete? I am trying to confirm some of the other non-All Star drivers who are coming, so if you know of any please post it here.
Its going to be great weather and great racing with Wilson and Smith going head to head for the title and $50,000. I hope to see lots of you there - its a two day show with free entertainment after Friday night's race and there is the Argosy riverboat casino across the street, good restaurants, and good people.

Luke Hall is confirmed.
I'm guessing there will be another handful of drivers not listed who will show up. In fact I know of another team bringing 2 cars and I believe Kent Wolters is driving one. Not sure about the other.

The plot thickens! I am looking forward to this weekend as a great closer to the All Star season. I hope you all can join us.
FYI - as soon as the checkered flag drops on Saturday night, construction begins to change the 'Burg to a 3/8 mile track for 2008.

So they are cancelling the remaining scheduled races to start construction?? That is a scoop for sure!! Or will they still be racing, just avoiding the construction equipment?

Oops - maybe I heard Dave wrong on Full Throttle. I didn't realize they had a few races left. My apologies...maybe he said as soon as the season ends? Sorry for the scare.

Kind of off topic here but, why the change to a 3/8?
