The O'Reilly Full Throttle Racing Show, presented by Maxim Racing and RacingJunk.com, has a huge show ready to go for Tuesday night, September 11, at 8pm eastern on DIRTVision.com.
We'll be previewing the Hoosier Fall Classic at Lawrenceburg, IN on September 14-15, with promoter Dave Rudisell, and All Star Circuit of Champions drivers Grrg Wilson and Danny Smith, who are waging the closest All Stars championship battle in history, as only three points seperate Wilson, the defending champion and current leader, from Smith, who is searching for his first series championship in his storied career. This is the final All Stars sanctioned event of the season and th Saturday final pays $10k to the winner and Wilson or Smith will capture the $50k series title.
Continuing with the All-Stars family of racing series, central Illinois will be the focal point for two traditional nights of racing with the Midwest All Star Series. Friday night, the "Best of the Midwest" will be at Jacksonville's Morgan Co. Speedway for the Hank Barlow Memorial and the series moves to Spoon River Speedway, near Canton, for the traditional Tom Knowles Memorial on Saturday night. Robbie Standridge, currently second in series points, will be with us to preview the weekend and discuss how the Midwest All Star Series has begun to change the landscape of sprint car racing in the region.
Craig Dollansky will be with us to talk about Wednesday night's World of Outlaws event at the Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, IA. This will be the series first visit to the facility, which has been completely reconfigured and updated
Also on Tuesday's show, we'll recap the 54th Gold Cup Race of Champions, won in exciting fashion by Joey Saldana, with California motorsports journalist and track announcer Troy Hennig. We'll also preview the rescheduled Fred Brownfield Memorial event with Washington-based track announcer Fred Rannard.
