The ASCS Nationals scheduled the start of their season on the same dates as the $15000 to win Short Track Nationals make up races. Am I the only one that thinks Emmett did it out of spite because of I-30 going with the NSL in 2016 .? Probably not.
Wrap your head around this. Would Emmett and company have worked the ASCS schedule the way they did if his Grandson Blake had one of the lock in spots to the final night and a shot at the $15000 other than Haudenschild or Reutzel .? I would bet my last dime if that was the case, you could find ole Emmett at I-30 Speedway March 10th - 12th ....
So what does Reutzel do .? He's caught in the middle of point racing with the ASCS and a potential $15000 payday. Does he race in Texas Friday night and then haul his rig to Arkansas for the STN final .? I think he should shine the ASCS all together and go run with the NSL 360's .!.!

I Don't think anyone is locked in from 2015 as that was a stand alone show. In March 2016 is a complete new show. I do find it interesting ASCS scheduled over the STN in March and the STN is not on the ASCS schedule for October. There are ASCS races during the season, interesting stuff.

The STN event from 2015 only ran 1 out of 4 nights hince the spring reschedule. Here's the details, http://www.i-30speedway.com/shorttracknationals.html
With them only running the 1 night, Aaron Reutzel won and Jac Haudenschild got the runner up spot, making them the only 2 drivers out of a potential 6 that are locked into the the A main for the Spring show.

I thought Reutzel said he'd be running a 410 next year anyway. Has he announced his plans yet?

I would suspect he will be there. the only 410 race that weekend is the outlaws in Cali and he is locked in to a top 6 starting position of a $15k to win race at a track he has been über successful at.

ASCS has bit the hand that feeds them way to much. Lots of sweet nothings. I herd Aaron say he was running 410's somewhere but why wouldnt he come back for the race knowing he starts no worse than 6th at a track hes pretty much dominated last year or so. My question About Jac is does he have to show up in same car or is it just driver that has to be there? Either way it goes screw ascs for scheduling on top of STN. NSL is the new & out with the old

I believe Aaron is running the Winter Heat at Cocopah, Jan 1. The ASCS schedule doesn't look that good this year. (yet)

The race in March and November are NSL sanctioned.
