While my critics at large will disagree ? I say to follow up on a few comments I've read in other replies ,That maybe some track or promoter should run a special event on a Friday night every so often against Williams Grove . Why you say , well it may spark them to improve on the track conditions, clean up the facility , such as the restrooms which are dirty alot , improve the concession foods and in general be or learn how to be polite to there CUSTOMERS on and off the phone or in person .

Or, as an alternative plan, perhaps the many critics should live 200+ miles away and attend the speedway that I spend my Friday nights at - No Speedway.
Having been to both - and No Speedway much, much more often - I can assure you that the Williams Grove Speedway is a much better facility and has a much better racing program than No Speedway.
Just sayin'

While I am not a big fan of what Williams Grove has become in recent years, I don't think trying to turn local tracks against each other has ever ended well in the times I have seen it happen, plus for things like the WoO schedule and PA Speedweeks, which, whether you like them or not, are money making shows for the tracks involved, the tracks have to work together. I also don't understand why this would make sense for the track running against the Grove with their special. While it may give fans another option and the drivers an opportunity for more money, how in the world does it make sense for a promotor to run a show on a night when they know from the beginning that they will have a diluted field of cars (some cars will inevitably stay at the Grove) and a possible splitting of the fan base (some fans that may come to the special on a different night will still go to the Grove, even if its just out of convenience). That doesn't make much business sense to me as a promotor. Sanctioning bodies will not get involved in a show (pissing contest) like this, and having one of them present (WoO or AllStars being the biggest) are the only ways to guarantee a big enough car count for the show to work.

I agree but this speedway needs to step up its program to give the drivers what they and the fans a better program , facilty , better customer service in dealing with there customers . Yes , the fans here in Pa are spoiled that they have so much racing and tracks close by . I hope that makes sense to you as you make a good point .

Your right as well , but now seems the time to schedule a race against the famed Wms Grove as not enough attention is being paid to track conditions, fans and drivers except the purses . And yes it is convenient for fans to come there after work as the starting time is based around when can fans get there or to hold down the tracks cost in hourly wages to employees . It is not just the mentioned track , its all track need to work on various items to improve there product . Times have changed besides good racing that we all want to see to put on a good show .

Maybe not the races have not been that good due to track conditions , which should be better like Lincoln or Port Royal .

Again, you still didn't answer why it would make sense for another promotor to schedule a race against them. Just because we'd like to see it happen doesn't mean it makes any business sense to do it.

I received some great advice on the last thread that this moron started and that is, to ignore him, he'll go away. You're beating your head off of a brick wall here. This dude has no common sense whatsoever and just blows off at the mouth without considering what he's actually saying. He's an idiot. Everything you said is dead on the money. You seem like a smart dude so don't waste your time arguing with this idiot. All it does is actually make him feel more validated. He's a nobody. He's never done Jack shit except start a few fan clubs (all of which have failed so far except for his latest one and he won't even tell anyone what racing fans direct even offers despite me asking him several times in this forum) and post drivel like this on a message board yet somewhere along the line, he got the idea that he's someone who people actually should feel the need to listen to because he's an insider who's worked closely with several tracks and promoters in Central Pa. He's full of shit. He's never done anything more than bounce his fairy tail ideas off of them concerning his unrealistic and overly expensive and highly ineffective expectations for his PERSONAL experience at the races. He has himself convinced that he speaks for all fans when in reality (something he has no concept of) he only speaks for himself and his own personal desires. Like Staggerlee said: #DontFeedTheBobcat

Things could be better at the Grove, but spitting the field & fans would only make things worse.
From what I can see, it comes down the mysterious track prep/weather issue. Racing got better at mid summer Nationals & after....

Instead of posting about it Robert, call your promoter friends and make it happen. Heck maybe you could have a BBQ at your place and invite all the area promoters that are your personal friends that you have worked with and have a round table discussion on what a great idea it would be to get into a pissing match with Williamsgrove and schedule a big race against one of the Groves big races. I'm sure they will be fighting for a chance to do so when you explain your reasoning. I mean what promoter wouldn't jump at a chance to pay out extra money for a big race that they already know will have a limited car count due to the direct competition. It gets better though, if this promoter pulls it off and gets 80% of cars and fills the stands, the Grove will have a terrible night and lose their ass. Now, according to Robert, this will force Williamsgrove to improve the facility so they can recapture the cars and fans. Congratulations Mr.Promoter you not only did you create an enemy in Williamsgrove, you inspired you direct competition to improve their facility to the point that maybe they can schedule an even bigger race against on of your big races and put you in the poor house for the weekend. This is a no brainer, I'm sure Lincoln and Port will probably get into a bidding war for this idea Robert, I wouldn't sell it for less than $5000

I live right next to "No Speedway" also! Last year's program really, really sucked. I remember the $hitty little speedway we had for years. Everyone complained about it and the city gave it no support. Now that $hitty little speedway is closed and torn down. Thankfully, No Speedway opened right after that but now I miss the $hitty little speedway-and so do all of the people that stopped supporting it. If you have tons of choices in the area, support whichever venue you want. If you have very few or one choice like I did, support it or it will be gone. Then you will be like wolfie and me. No Speedway! (Good news though-No Speedway is never dusty!)

Another great comment by StaggerLee , I am not trying to force Wms Grove to anything but my observation is simply that maybe its not a bad time to run against or run a Friday night when the historical Grove doesn't run . Just maybe the Grove would get there act together , in track prep, or how they do treat people . No , I don't want any track to lose there A____________S as you say . Just want to see them bring back what use to be but then the economy has something to do with that ,whoops ? Just my thoughts not the answer .

Just maybe it's time for you to stop posting your stupid ideas on here! If Anouther track runs a special event on a Friday against the Grove and takes some of the Groves cars away that night how is that HELPING THE FANS at the Grove? They pay full price to see a smaller field. I thought you were all about THE FANS, and them getting the most for their money? Now you want to stab the Grove and their loyal fans in the back!!
Just as always, everything you post just proves you are full of crap. You are just full of hatred for the Grove cause they wouldn't let you set up you stupid stand for free!

You pretty much hit the nail on the head perfectly. The guy is a complete and total buffoon and as an unfortunate one time member of his failed PA Posse Fans club I know first hand.

I am trying to point out a few things , but its not working so I will have to choose my words more wisely . No don't hate the above mentioned tracks either , just disappointed with them regarding there facilities . I would never do anything to not help fans get what they want or enjoy racing .
