I've been wondering about this ever since Badlands announced they were moving to Saturday nights and will have the 305 sprints on their card. i90 Speedway also has a weekly 305 sprint show on Saturday nights. These 2 tracks are only 21 miles apart. I'm not interested in people's opinions about what Badlands is doing...what's done is done. What I'm interested in is if anyone from the area has any knowledge what i90 Speedway is planning to do now. Thanks

At the last pit meeting Lyle (the owner) said he was staying with Saturday. Rumor is IMCA won't allow 2 tracks so close to both have 305 sanctioning and if you race a non IMCA track your motor needs to be re-inspected to come back to a IMCA track. Lyle's saying he will have sanctioning and Badlands will not. And Badlands is paying $1000. to win if they get 20 cars and i-90 pays $300. Not sure if there will be enough for Badlands to get 20.

I-90 tried Friday's a few years ago & it didn't go very well, so I would be surprised if they would try that again.
Plus Rock Rapids races on Fridays & they pay more with the Hobby's & B-Mods than Hartford.
