Even with all the drama of how this event has played out thus far, last night was action packed without a doubt !! A promoter can only do so much to bring us fans a great show, it's really up to the track conditions and the drivers to give us what we crave. If you didn't get to see it live, find a recording !! In my opinion a multi lane slick track with a thin lipped cushion is at the top of my list, next would be a cowboy up heavy track like it was last night. The only reason the cowboy up heavy track isn't my favorite is because it takes its toll on the drivers and their equipment, just like last night with a 10 car flip count and thank the Lord there wasn't any serious injuries. These guys and gals had to add some big brass balls to their set ups to tackle that track. All the drivers gave it hell !! But, Haudenschild, Reutzel and Crawley really stood out, Crawley early in the night more so than the main. I knew what to expect from the Wild Child on a track like that, but Reutzel not so much, from what I've seen and read in the past that kind a track isn't his forte, well, I think it is now! This young man continues to step up his game and with a performance like last night coming from 13th and to pass the Wild Child for the lead on the outside of that track blew my mind !! I hope tonight isn't as rutted as last night, I don't think my nerves can take it ....! lol

that event is also one of my favorites. from all the fans with shine in their jackets to the fabulous "frito pie" at the concessions, it was a great experience to say the least. what most of the fans don't know that if you go "over" the high side, you are doing just that with a 8-10 drop off....ballsey to say the least! during my last visit there several years ago with gladbrad we saw sammy win the A with the left front tire flat. his comment was, "hell, i can beat them all with only three tires"...classic! a must see event for all
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...
