I just hope it is not the joining of two Outlaw Teams example Saldana and the 71, Dollansky is one driver that wants back on the trail and brings sponsor with him . I would rule out Smith( previous dea)l and Gravel they want another crowd favorite If it is already down to two guys you would think they had talks prior to Thursday. With all the earlier runors about Ryan Smith could that have been his other option?
Gators great shows this year with John on your last show try to get either Alan or Steve Inch to get something on Selinsgrove it is starting to get late.
Also with John working at Mach 1 Whats going on with Mark Smith?

I truly feel that no matter how much $$$ is thrown at this sport, the birth & joining of a past super star to help throw in some input CJB Motorsports is not going to be anymore a major contender in 2016 than it has been this year or even their best year of 9? wins.
Expectations are way to high coming out of the city of brotherly love. U had the best local there ever was & were somewhat successful, but due to inner workings & crew chief ego this deal will only ever be a contributor..I believe it is the 1 constant that ruins this organization. BWW team of the East!!!

Get rid of Barry Jackson and hire Lethal Lee Staufer, then your problem is solved.

You can say the same thing about Chris benick at destiny. He leaves, bring in Bonzai and Jac is still there. These owners have to start paying attention to the drivers instead of the head wrenches....
No matter how hard you try.........you can't polish a
terd!!!

you might want to check the stats before going on how you feel. the past superstar was faster and finished ahead of the house driver most of the time with this team. Paul's last win had the past superstar in his pits that night helping with the setup

so if the past superstar was there to help set up the car and Paul won how does all of this make It the drivers fault. It's funny how people on here want to talk about a driver that might not be thier favorite and but then contradict themselves with the dumb SH!t they say. Go buy a car or get some balls and drive on then you can talk about the teams or the drivers

I couldn't agree with you more. I believe his name is Scott Though. Rick Rogers will Not Get Rid of Scott Benic. Nice man but not the right guy for the job.. If Gravel leaves it will probably be to move forward in his career. Look at what he earned last year to this year. Rick Rogers is spending money , but In my opion in the wrong place..
Benic and Rogers have business dealing together from what I undersanf as far as baud goes I believe Patty took care of that!!
i don't know much about Barry, how long has he been a crew chief and how long has he worked with McMahan..
i hear there are some big changes with Joey too!

WTF ? Nothing you typed made any sense.
My response was not to you, but since you chimed in. I was saying that Sammy has helped the CJB team as a driver and with is knowledge.
Just to let you know, I am a Paul Mcmahan fan. I have been a sprint car owner, and a driver for over twenty years. Also I raced in California when Paul started driving sprint cars, till he went out on tour. Paul is a class act.

I think what he was saying is... if you are going to give the credit for Paul's last win to Sammy's set-up ability... than you pretty much made his point that Paul was not the weak link.
I don't know too much about Barry Jackson... seems that he has been succesful over the years... however it also appeared that he was able to slow Rahmer down quite a bit too?
It will be interesting to see how this all works out... I took the interview as Barry placing alot of the blame on himself which seemed pretty classy but you never know what is said behind the scenes.
I also think CJB must have some type of internal chemistry problem... Rahmer, Smith, then McMahon who are you going to hire that is any better?

What? When Rahmer drove the 51 everything on that car was changed. Chassis, engines, wings, shocks, and several other things at the request of Fred. It didn't work.
Barry won't be the death of CJB. The death of CJB will be when they are done with racing. Barry has taken that organization to the next level, from a mid pack running local car to a winning WoO team that can finish top 5 in points.
Also, if the CJB car is the BWW car of the East, they should set the world on fire next year cause that 82 was lightning fast this year and just won last night In Charlotte!

When Sammy calls you and talks to you about expanding and says he's bringing money with him, you do it!
Its worked and they were ready. Both cars are fast and Sammy has already found little things that made them faster.
