I feel nothing but sympathy for a track that had what I'm assuming was their biggest annual four day event turned into one Thursday night night preliminary squeezed between three days of rain. That is a worst case scenario for a promoter and as evidenced by some of these posts the beating they took from the weather was only half of the bruisin'. I often repeat this narrative but I'll say it again. Everyone should know promoters/track owners/car owners/drivers personally and if they've got even so much as an ounce of empathy it would cut this bashing sessions down to barely a trickle.

Other then the racing..... the place is a dump.....plan and simple......The restrooms always back up, food is not that good and bleachers are awful.....the only improvement I ever see is the white paint every year......I did not go this year choose different venues to visit and glad I did.

From what I have been told they cannot spend much to fix the track. City has been wanting to close them and the lease has some dumb thing in it that if they renovate beyond a certain dollar amount the City can shut the track down!! Sounds Dumb but that is what I heard.
Dirt is for racing. Asphalt is for getting there.

They have been wanting to do repair & upgrade but the city will not issue them permits when applied bc they want the place shut down
