I couldn't picture him sticking around too long after they brought the grumpy old man onboard so I can't say I'm surprised.

I'm suprised a driver would walk away from a ride these days. Especially a WoO ride. I just don't see very many open seats anywhere.

I'm not sure he walked away according to the rumors going around.
Does Saldana take that ride?

Don't count out Lasoski maybe in that ride, especially with the partnership with Tod Quiring now. He did take some heat for owning a series AND the car that won the points championship and all the money with the NSL last year. Would be bad for NSL to lose a car, but who knows, if Motter doesn't secure WOO sponsorship, perhaps they could run NSL - much more local and if Joey stayed on board, he could be home every week with the family.

And enter the douchebag Swindell haters, LMAO. You showed up much quicker than expected. Yep, it's all Sammy's fault.

Doubtful SS would sign up for a less competitive ride than the 51s he can drive to success on a schedule that suits his lifestyle.
I was told at Lincoln that this was coming...perhaps there are other "worsched up" candidates already calling to get in line?
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

It's an Outlaw ride. Why would you ever pass that up.

Could be wrong but didn't rahmer and the 51 cjb team split on pretty ugly terms a few years ago? I don't see stevie leaving rahmer for the cjb team and burning that bridge

Leaving a local team to run the outlaw tour? Regardless of who it is, how could that create bad blood?

I think stevie has zero desire to be back on the road, seems like I've heard that in a few interviews. I think he is happy where he is so he probably has no interest in ruining what he and fred have

Like I said above - do not expect a replay of 2013...if "you" are convinced being on the tour with the spectre of "worsched up" looming is somehow a better deal than one of the highest winning percentages for a few handful of appearnace - apply for the ride today...

All good points. Stevie won a lot of money this year running locally. Kind of the same as a Dale Blaney. He deserves an Outlaw ride, but why leave dominating the All Star Circuit along with his added Outlaw races.

Bigger question is where is Paul going to end up? My guess is the NSL or All Stars

If Paul did in fact walk away from this ride on his own terms, that means something was wrong in a huge way. From the outside looking in, that seems like a top notch deal. Probably as good as any ride that isn't funded by Kasey, Tony or Larson but like I said, if he just flat out walked away, it may not be as good as it looks. If I were a driver who was thinking about taking that ride, that would raise a big red flag for me. Sometimes things just go sour without it really being anyone's fault in particular. Things just run their course. Maybe that's what happened here. Obviousky it's none of my business but it just makes me wonder. As far as Stevie goes, maybe if he has a burning desire to do the Outlaw tour one more time, he might consider it but I don't know what type of terms his previous deal with CJB ended on so one can only speculate there. Regardless, I don't know that Stevie would want to leave Fred's deal until he hangs it up for good. If I had to guess, I'd say he's as happy as he could possibly be with where he is now at this point in his career. He basically wins one out of every three races he runs and they don't piss around with the weekly shows. Just the higher paying time trial shows and they're the fastest car on the track 90%. The grass doesn't get much greener than that. If I had to guess, I'd say we'll see Saldana in it and if they click, they might just be a championship contender.

I'm wondering about that myself. No doubt he's a pretty damn good driver with a pretty good resume so I think he'll end up getting a good ride before too long.

Paul has won what?????? Maybe 12 woo wins in 10 years and he walks away my ass, he was let go and as far as Sammy being blamed by the idiots........ Sammy drove to the burg and paul wins the race cause Sammy helped the team that night so dont blame Sammy for Mcmahons lack of ability as a woo driver....... He is a allstar outlaw not a woo outlaw and he always has been but has been lucky being in woo for the years he has, Hope Joey gets the ride and dominates to show what a strong team that CJB is.cause Paul cant race but he can qualify and thats the deal
