No surprise. Joey is only a title contender with Mopar power.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Agreed. More tines than not, he's in the top 3 in time trials but always seems to go backwards the rest of the night. Just from what I've seen, the car lacks major forward drive once the track slicks off.

Not sure where you saw anything about Sammy but he is in the CJB #1 next year with Big Game back as his sponsor. Supposedly 40-50 races but hopefully more. Plus I do believe he is running the World Finals this year as well.

I like Joey just fine, but I think it has more to do with his either not being able to convey what the car is doing as the night progresses (heat and/or dash) or the crew doesn't have a grip on adjusting the car to the track conditions. Plus, Joey has made some crirical mistakes while leading or contending for wins.

If I was Motter, I wouldn't hesistate to pull my team off the Outlaw trail and run locally. They can run Jackson and Knoxville and run for some pretty fantastic money, and not have to deal with the travel demands of the Outlaws, as well as the expense. Add in the 50kto with Gold Cup at Badlands, the 25k to win Jackson Nationals, and some of the other IRA events and they can easily run 60 nights within 8 hours of Motter's shop and still afford a full time driver like Saldana.

Maybe Joey to CJB, and Paul runs NSL with Motter?

I could see Motter running the NSL and put Balog in the seat.

Balog over Paul? Doubt it.

If were lucky there will be a 71M. At this point, I highly doubt it will exist.
