Looks like the rain is scheduled to start Saturday in the evening.  Hopefully the early start will allow the full show to get in. Maybe it'll hold off?  Fall weather in Central PA, especially around Port, is pretty unpredictable.

I have absolutely no idea about the Lincoln thing, but it seems highly, highly unlikely that they wouldn't open.

As far as rides go.......I have heard different stuff, but I take anything I hear, unless its from a reliable source, with a huge grain of salt.  The stuff I heard, I took with 10 lbs of salt.

I am not sure where your weather forcast Sat. is coming from, what I am getting for Juniata County is rain late Sat. night into Sunday morning and not a really strong chance of that. As for the Chip car, no facts here but I am pretty sure there is a driver in it if he wants it.

The reason I said it was starting to look alot like last week is as late as Sat morning there was no mention of rain in the forecast until Sunday just cloudy and cold yet they were cancelled at 3:00 and said in the release it rained most of the day and had a heavy shower at 2:30.  When I got there from Lingelstown the sun was out bright at 3:15.

The person that said about Lincln reminded me that every other year they announced a date for the Icebreaker at the last race this year they did not.

The same person has connections with the chip car but I cant belive Lance would race one night a week.

Everyone belives that Kreitzer and Inch are taking over Selinsgrove so he cant be at both places.

I am pretty sure that Suuny Hill Farms & Middleswarth will join forces and Buckwalter will win track titles at Williamgrove & Port Royal. Plus 2016 Pa. Speedweek champion.

As cool as that would be to see, wiont happen anytime soon.  Too dedicated to midgets.

However, if anyone in their right mind thinks Lincoln won't open, probably should get a psych eval.

Why would they sell Lincoln ? its the most successful track in central Pa  because of you  THE FANS WHO ATTEND . It gets great crowds weekly  because of there location , close to Maryland , Hanover , York , East Berlin , Dillsburg, and other towns close by .  Guess what !  they don't really have to promote to much , just open gates . Loyal  fans return weekly cause its close for them and less expensive for them to travel , as there is a new fan of today then years gone by . I believe there are some fans that don't go to other tracks only to Lincoln , but I could be wrong . This is my opinion so respect  that please until proven otherwise .

I typically only go to Lincoln, Bob. I live less than 5 minutes away though. With the Gobrecht SSP purchase, I'll probably make that trek more this coming year. I'm not a WG fan and Port and Path are too much of a hike for weekly travel.

Lincoln has such a loyal following first and foremost due to the fact that they have been putting on good races on a well prepared surface for the last however many decades. Since I can remember, it has been consistent all the time. No peaks and valleys like we have been at Port Royal (hopefully that's over now that O'Neal has shown them all how it's done). Also they have so many loyal fans because they don't pull any of the bullshit that the other Speedways do Port Royal included and that is pulling the plug on a show because it rains a little bit and the crowd is right. At Lincoln, the racing comes FIRST. When they open the gates on a day when the weather is iffy, you know damned well they're going to give it everything they have to make sure that the fans who paid to get in (regardless of whether it's 100 people or 3,000 people) and the teams who towed there get to see a race. Simple as that. They have built loyalty among their fans because they are the ONLY track in Central Pa who I feel 100% understand how loyalty works. It's all about give and take. They know that the money they lose during a night when the crowd is down because of an enhanced chance of rain will be made back in the future and then some because they have built their own loyal fan base of diehards by putting on great racing and most of all, not sticking one up our asses every time they might lose a buck. Port has gotten better but I still feel they have some work to do in that department and if they want to see how it's done, look no further than Lincoln because they truly understand how to build loyalty among their fans better than anyone.

As a 410 fan here in Central Pa we are spoiled.  To have Port or Lincoln within like 70 miles of each other, is absolutely awesome.  I like going to Lincoln just as much as going to Port.  Different styles of racing and different crowds, but I enjoy the hell out of em both.

Absolutely. I support them all. When it comes right down to it, they all do a very good job most of the time. All I was saying is, Lincoln has figured out how to build loyalty among their fans better than anyone. Port is getting better at it and the Grove well, lets just say they're headed in the wrong direction lol.

Is his inability to decipher the difference befween "than" and "then" a testament to his intelligence? And i say this knowing that Port Royal's promoter and track itself is shit. Just not as shit as your competence.
