And until you've ever tried putting a car on the track, you have no idea what you are yapping about. You can say it's bs or bitching all you want but you have no clue.

would the same drivers still be upset if Todd, Knoxville, and Jackson would have done nothing and pay would of stayed 3000 across the board? noone would be bitching everyone would be status que! but instead Todd and those 2 tracks said hey we want this series to be a success so we are going to pay every driver that commets to us gets 5000 to win! the same guys that are bitching are the same guys that couldnt drive 30 min or so to the iowa st. fair speedway to race with the NSL, those only having 18 cars.

Any word if the NSL/Knoxville alliance is going to affect 360 rules at Knoxville?

If wal mart was going to lower their prices by 50% for only the people who did all their shopping at wal mart would you be happy about it?

I don't see how the new payout changes those driver's bottom lines OR the cost of putting food on the table or a roof over the family's heads. It remains the same. You're the one that doesn't get it!

The payout remains the same which is a problem as the costs keep going up. You are the one that has no clue what it takes to put a car on the track but you'll bitch like a stuck pig if you don't think there's enough cars................idioys these days...........................damn.

There's nothing to "get". Some folks have the means to race all over the midwest and others don't. Some drivers have to work for a living and don't have the means to chase the series. Some guys and gals have to work and in fact that's where I'll be going soon. I know, in your world the fact that I have to pay for a house and car and keep granny and the cat well fed and happy is just an excuse. After all, I should buy a motorhome and chase the WoO around the country with the camera. Anything less than that is a lame assed excuse.
I'll let you sit in the basement and contemplate that and check in again this evening.

For those complaining, I didn't hear other teams/drivers complain about the benefits that full-time Knoxville teams receive from other competitors.
Full-time Knoxville teams have received the following for many seasons: Pit passes for the next season (free or reduced price), KRCO insurance, KRCO safety equipment (Driver's Suits, Seats, Axle tethers, fireproof underwear, etc., etc.), etc..
NSL is doing the same thing for their full-timers, they are just doing it with $$$ instead.
But, let's not confuse anyone with factual information, let's just complain instead....carry on.

You folks that think you have to throw insults and imagine what someone elses life is like simply because of differing points of view is ridiculous. In this world there are the haves and the have nots. I'm not a have as you have assumed. I know how tough it is on independant, full time job, part time racers. My question to you is this. Are those drivers ever going to get ahead if nothing changes in their sprint car world? There are some that would rather see the NSL and Knoxville do nothing to try and grow the sport in the Midwest rather than support the changes in hopes that additional changes may come along that they will benefit from. I don't have a crystal ball, either. But short term thinking has seldom led to long term success. This is only the second season of the NSL, and because it hasn't been the "second coming", people are already blasting any progress attempted.

Got news for you.....you don't have any idea as to what I know or don't know.....and I've supported tracks as a fan when car counts were terrible without bitching! You need to look in the mirror to relate to the ones who are bitching right now!
