For those still wanting a racing fix, be sure and come to Lawrenceburg Speedway this weekend October 16th and 17th for the best of both worlds. World of Outlaws Sprints on Friday night, and USAC Non Wing Sprints on Saturday Night. The weather is looking really pretty good for this weekend and one of the best tracks in the midwest has lightning fast speeds and great grandstands. The best drivers in the world, will be there this weekend and even though we know Donny Schatz has already wrapped up the WoO title, the USAC Title is still up for grabs.
Get your tickets now.......SEE YOU THERE...

Priority Aviation has offered 1,000 to the highest finishing WoO regular in Saturday's Usac event. Hopefully some will run it.

There is also money for highest average finisher of both shows. Indy Race Parts. Saturday also has 1100 for fast qualifier.

That would be totally awesome if some of the WoO guys would take the wing off and vice versa for some great sponsors whom have added some bonus money. Just checking the weather for that area and looks to be fine, no rain, might be a little chilly at night, so dress a little on the heavy side. GOING TO BE AN EPIC WEEKEND WITH DAVE RUDISELL and his Lawrenceburg Speedway Crew. LETS DO THIS......

Ain't gonna happen. Should be some decent racing and I hope "epic" pans out. Track might be drier than the Arizona desert.

I believe a few WoO regulars will run. Cant predict which ones but if I were to guess Id say Stewart, Saldana, Sweet, Schuchart, Pittman, Johnson, and Gravel. Do have to say it would be cool to see Schatz take the wings off to see where he stacks up with the best in the business.

Dave Rudisell owner of Lawrenceburg posted on IOW that people will be surprised to the naysayers saying that none of the Outlaw guys are going to run it.

Your are right - people can dream that the outlaws regulars will "take the wings off" and stay and run the USAC race the following night - NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.
However, I can envision two guys that may run with a wing on Friday, then non-wing Saturday night...Bryan Clauson and Tracey Hines. They are not outlaw regulars though. Thinking that Saldana, Schatz, or any of those other guys will take the wing off for Saturday - isn't going to happen folks. Just the same as Darland, Ballou, Stanbrough, etc. won't be running a wing car on Friday.

And it would also be wrong to lead people to think that the Outlaw regulars will be staying Saturday and running without a wing - that is not going to happen.

I also think people will be surprised. IT DOESN'T SAY THEY MUST DRIVE THEIR OUTLAW CAR which in itself presents a problem Brad Sweet was more than proficient NW. He was a winner and only a couple years removed. Bell, Sweet, Courtney, Hines, Schurenberg, Ballou, possibly Pittman. Some of the guys that run Atomic. KANE for one. I expect many of those to run both
Top Regular gets a grand plus finishing possition purse. Thats better than start money in a WoO show. Could be a few. Even the Slammer has run NW Granted years ago and Mostly Silly bowl lately But There will be a few.
