Probably for the same reason Posse guys don't run big races outside of PA.
Joking aside he raced at Atomic Speedway for their Freedom 40 for what it's worth. I don't know what what went into his decision.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure he won a qualifiers race that automatically gave him a starting spot out there.

Based on the track conditions on Sunday, Dale would have been sittin' pretty at Williams Grove.

Had plans to attend National Open before the rains washed away the first two days. Due to travel for the team that has other weekday commitments, as well as illness, decided to stay a little closer to the shop.
