I was checking the pre-entries and noticed he has been added. With Outlaw races on Friday and Saturday I imagine he'll just run tonight, unless a rainout occurs on Saturday, which might allow him to race the championship night at Knoxville.

Lets see if his racing one night but not committing to the whole event attracts as much butt hurt from the forums as Rico's decision did.
Cheers!

I doubt Danny (Donny's dad) will be climbing aboard to drive. Last year he was his lone crewman.
I don't think anyone would complain at all (I really don't get those that complained about Rico either), you play by the rules dealt you. The rules allowed for a driver change.
Given the current forecast, only night Donny will be there is tonight, weather looks good for Eldora and Berlin Friday and Saturday.

I doubt Donny will finish in the top 20 tonite. There are more talented drivers in the WOO Late Models than the WOO Sprints.

If Donny pulled a Rico at the sacred World 100 you'd better believe the natives would not take too kindly to that.

Remember when some guys used to bring 2 or 3 cars to qualify at the World ? They changed the rules.

You must not be from up north? Have you watched Donny drive a late model? He is very impressive for so few races he has race. I wouldn't be surprised a bit if he cracked the top twenty. Jmo

Any second thoughts on your opinion?

Finished 15th in the B Feature and 35th in points for the night. I guess that about sums it up.

On the 10th July this year at River Cities Speedway Donny finished 3rd in WOO Latemodel A main behind Tim McCreadie and Josh Richards.

Could be but I dont see many late model drivers jumping in for the Knoxville Nationals in a sprintcar either. With little practice I doubt they would crack the B main on Saturday night either.

Donny probably had trouble keeping focused on driving since it took so long to turn a lap! He timed in at 18.1
